  16. i wish i could have held in my smile. maybe even silenced my laugh. but seeing as they are both out there, i guess i might as well show you how i really feel…right? dont answer that just yet. first i really need you to do something. its not that important…or really all that neccisary i guess…but if you could, that would really help me out here. i need you to look inside your self, really deep, and yes i mean it. look and tell me what you see, tell me who you see. i know you will see your mother and father, and maybe an aunt or and uncle. maybe a grandparent or two. a sister or a brother, and a few friends, but im looking for some one spacific. maybe a girl, who you have known for a while. she is pretty, and smart, and knows how to make you laugh, and feel better when life sucks. she makes toy a cake on your birthday, and chicken noodle soup when your sick. she bakes you a cupcake to celebrate even the smallest of your acomplishments. because if she is there, then i know that we can continue, finish what we started and not really worry anymore. but if she isnt, then we could have an issue. we may have a problem. or maybe not…

  22. I like to celebrate almost everything. I live in a country where pretty much everything is celebrated. On every corner there is a group of people who are drinking, playing dominoes and just talking about anything. If there nis a tropical storm…celbration…if there is a strike….celebration…if there is a war there is celebration. So it’s difficult to decide what to celebrate or not.

  26. The air was thick with apprehension. As the minutes ticked on, the mothers and children tucked into each other, and the fathers looked on grimly. A large television broadcasted an equally grim-looking anchorwoman. Her body language showed her nervousness.

Around the world, people tensed as the time drew nearer.

Tick… tick… tick… The clock tolled, long and loud, as it had on any other afternoon. But people everywhere exhaled simultaneously, relieved, celebrating a seemingly insignificant time.

The clock moaned its deep tone, and they were alive, another apocalypse theory already beginning to fade away.

  31. Today, I celebrate ME.
I decided that just this second … just as I saw the word.
    Why?
    Because I need to.
I need to remember that even though family members have threatened legal action against me, I’ve done my best to do the job to my best ability.
    And I’ve done well.
I get to celebrate that … and not believe the lies and rumors they are spreading about me.
    I celebrate my accomplishments.
Because if I don’t, who will?

  36. It was a grim fate for them and they were well aware of that. Still they stood tall and strong above all other, looking past the scars they have made and the wounds they collected between them. They were an honorable pair, with nothing but intentions of good for the world that they promised each other to keep. They knew what was to happen to them, they knew of the pain, they knew of the death that made oh so real. But it seems like a mans best parting always happens when they die, so they celebrated the brief moment of peace and then they ran forth. They were here for a moment… and then they were gone.

  37. Good times, dancing around, enjoying the moment you want to be forever stuck in. Jumping to the beat of the music, you celebrate the day you are living, and each breath you take. How could one simple word bring everyone together in joy?!

  40. Is it considered a time to celebrate if someone has died?
Regardless of his or her crimes, faults, beliefs… is it still right?

Of course we were excited when Osama had been capture.
But should we have celebrated his awful demise?
Terrorist or not, he was still a person.
Is it really human of us to cheer from his death?
