  2. Celebrate. Embrace. Rejoice. Sing praise. Have fun, be happy. Birthdays. Anniversaries. Good days. Surviving the bad ones. Loving the warm summer sun, celebrating on a patio with a cold beer. Happiness. New babies. Little puppies. Engagements. Milestones. Being alive. Feeling alive. Driving on the highway with the wind in your hair. Getting a promotion. Isn’t there a million reasons – or needing no reason at all – just to celebrate??

    the age of our feet

    after all this time

  6. “Hi!” Jessie yelled at the top of her lungs while hugging her best friend Carey. They hadn’t seen each other in five years when Carey suddenly calls her and asks her to celebrate a three year anniversary. She didn’t even know that her best friend from grade school had gotten married.

  7. It’s the end of the year. Senior year. Graduation. A day of celebrating. But what exactly are we celebrating. Is it leaving a place you’ve known most of your life? Is it leaving behind some of the coolest people you’ve ever known, your best friends? What about this day can we celebrate? Oh right. Getting the hell outta that demonic world we call high school. Now I remember.

  8. We celebrate anniversaries, monumental events, beginnings, endings, victories.
I just…. celebrations are lost on me.
Do you wake up, every birthday, expecting extravagant things and just get completely down-struck at the sight of nothing.
I don’t really like my birthdays, because they have always been some of the worst days of my life.

  9. Celebrate every day that you live. Make sure you surround your life with those who make you happy and those who can make a positive influence on you. Celebrate yourself. Celebrate your freedom. Celebrate the things that make you an individual. Don’t allow people to change you unless it’s for the better. Celebrate. You.

  10. I use to be happy, I use to care, I wanted to celebrate the small things in life, but now that my happiness is gone, now that Jordan has died, my want to celebrate life is gone too. I just want my life back. I just want a soul.

  11. Sit back and celebrate the silence after a day well lived and when I can’t find anything else to give because I went all or nothing and stuffing twenty four hours with every fiber fixing this and that like I’m MacGyver. Whew, we’ve got guts to trust tomorrow will be better, forget the birds and feathers. It’s just me, just one, celebrating all I’ve done.

  12. celebrate good times come on! yeah?? well how many times do you celebrate for another’s happiness that didn’t have some effect on yourself. My point is, when was the last time you truly gave your full attention to someone’s achievements and not thought about you in the end.

  13. Celebrate the small things. Celebrate when the end of day sheet balances out. Celebrate when shuffle knows what you want to listen to. When your favorite show has a two hour special or when you find great sites like oneword.com.

  14. Let’s celebrate! Culture, diversity, our differences make us stronger, united! *No!* Let’s celebrate being human wreckage. The sort you love. Let’s celebrate being all the same- *it’s not as bad as it sounds*. Let’s give a cheer to cigarettes and my friend Mary Jane. Tight shorts and short days. We’re celebrating? I’ll have a martiniC:

  15. It was about time to celebrate and appreciate life. I need to be thankfult that I have everything and everyone in it. Stress, pain, and anger are all Part of life, but so is love, happiness, and relaxation. Good times and bad times come; it’s just all about how you take it and grow off of it that matters.

  16. Celebration calls for a time of love and joy. Most people celebrate only their important accomplishments in life. They forget all about the little struggles that they deal with every single day. They must learn to celebrate every single thing they work hard to get through in their lives.

  17. I had just celebrated my 17th birthday when I got the news. They had died, while driving down an icy lane trying to make my birthday special. Just speeding down that highway when they got hit. The police said that they were still holding my gift, all wrapped up in shiny paper. They had gotten me “The Game of Life”.

  18. A ballroom,
A fancy dinner and you in that dress.

I’m staring down into a glass Half-Full of champagne,
The bubbles flicker and pop —
Fighting and fucking their way to the surface.

    Looking around I see
    Guests like bubbles.

    by MJ on 09.19.2011
  20. Celebrate life. If I were to celebrate every instance and aspect of life, I would. I’m unable to. I find it difficult. How does someone find every single moment enjoyable? How does someone completely grasp life in such a manner? Is it possible? Can I achieve that? Can you? Selective celebration is my means of celebrating life.

  24. Everyday, we are given a million reasons to celebrate. The joys of the world are endless.
There’s the stranger that smiles at you crossing the street. There’s getting to the next level on your favorite game. There’s the chance to eat fresh baked cookies. There’s the possibility that at any second you could meet someone who could change your life.

  26. what is there left after the banners have dropped and the confetti’s done its swirling flight? reminds you that things are only ever temporary. celebrations are brief and the reasons to despair number even more – but maybe that’s why we bring out the champagne, and maybe that’s why we try to lose ourselves, and maybe that’s why we pretend that there are things that are eternally gladdening.

    by Nuard on 09.19.2011
  27. Birthdays. Weddings. Celebrate. These words have meaning to some people, but not to me. I hate everything and everyone. What is a celebration? It is merely and excuse to be happy, when in actuality, there is nothing to be happy about.

  29. If there’s one thing we don’t do enough it’s this. We don’t celebrate life, love, and happiness. We don’t celebrate the sadness that we’re allowed to feel merely because we are alive. We should celebrate that we can feel everything around us. We should celebrate ourselves. We are beautiful creatures.

  30. I want to celebrate the fact that I am so lost in my life right now. Even though I’m in the in-between, as most university students are, it makes me love the fact that I’m moving somewhere. If you’re a university/college student, don’t be upset that you don’t know what to do with your life, celebrate the fact that you’ve decided that you inevitably want to go somewhere with it.
