He looks around. No one’s heard him. Whew. He takes a big gulp and watches the rest of the show in silence.

  15. Light mixes with clouds to create a surreal tornado of colour. It looks soft, yet is nothing but moisture condensing in the air. To the touch it would be cool, but to the eye it looks as if it is on fire, burning salmon pink as the sun rises.

  21. Lying on her back, she could see only the stars. It was the last thing she would ever see. Everyone else had left her already. They didn’t want to see her die under the full moon. Of course if they knew why, they might have stayed but they didn’t. All they knew was she was holding a gun to her own head, and it scared them. So she looked at the celestial sky, and pulled the trigger.

  24. I am nothing but a celestial figment of your imagination. The artificial nebulae pulsing out throbbing ribbons of code. The data infused within the nectar of the gods. The gods that happen to simply be more superior in computer make-up. There is always a hierarchy within the system. Some have better designs than others.

Don’t worry about being erased. There is no plug to be pulled. There is merely the endless existence crafted by the frazzled minds of geniuses, and you cannot run away from the end product.

Her aura shone throughout the room,
And there was not a single eye that was not on her
(Except for Pete’s but he lost it in a crossbow mishap).

I couldn’t catch my breath anymore than the others in the room,
And we all dropped to the ground, gasping for air.
Her celestial beauty killed us all.
And Pete walked away with the prize.

  34. Are we celestial bodies? Are celestial bodies even truly a thing? Maybe we’re simply one step in a constantly evolving chain of increasingly advanced bodies. Maybe reincarnation is the right idea, but slightly off. Maybe our past lives we were insects, and our next lives we will be gods. I don’t know, you don’t know, but one day… we will all find out.

  39. I learned celestral nagivation on a long sailing trip with a nearly blind alcoholic French man I barely knew. I wanted a change and when he invited me to sail across the Pacific with him I said Yes. I slept with him, of course. When we sat inside the boat he had made mostly by hand and showed me the map of the places he had been I was helpless to say No to any of it. He frightened me often and I finally left the boat in Fiji to fly home to San Francisco. I will never forget the sky and how it could tell me exactly where on Earth I was if I had a sextant and a calculator.
