  2. I’m not really fond of chocolates. I can deal with eating them, but I don’t necessarily crave for them unlike most people do. I usually just eat chocolates when I have no choice or when I’m sad. But it’s a yummy treat!

  3. the first time my lips touched the cool hard square, i felt like heaven on earth. the smoothness and richness of the morsel reminded me of past dates, summer nights, and a welcoming sense of home. the powers of the sweet lifted me up from the present and set me down into a fantasy i hoped would never end.

  5. it’s what we used to call him. we weren’t very creative back then. it’s funny though, it described him perfectly. his skin colour, how he could be sweet, but was far too expensive. it’s not even funny, mostly just pathetic. that’s all i have to say on the matter.

  6. The sweet and irresistible delicacy that has troubled us for so long. The product of cocoa. It is what bonds us and gives us a euphoria that only few things can take us to. It is what I give to my mother, my cousin, my brother, and my lover.

  10. well chocolate makes the world go ROUND!!! duh! think about it. especially since its Valentines day, it make singles not so bitter.. (bitter sweet that is) and couples love each other all the more. It makes pain go away–emotional and physical pain (if you are a chick you know what i mean!) This sweet and commforting treat is what makes people so quaint to be around. If instead of bombs, and we ould drop chocalte, lets face it… the world would be a sweeter place :)

  11. Chocolate? Really? That’s the word you’re going to give me on Valentine’s Day? That’s okay, though. It gives me an excuse to write about my “Valentine”. He brought me over an infamous heart-shaped box of chocolates. My first Valentine in years. Maybe ever.

Oh, I also found a bar of unopened Snickers on the bus ride home. Score.

  12. Sometimes I crave chocolate. Sometimes I can’t stand it, because it’s too sweet, like sugarcoated words. White chocolate seems to be my favourite kind, although dark chocolate has a mysterious aroma that attracts me as well. Chocolate – must be a Valentine’s Day thing, huh? So overrated, so much that I can’t begin to describe it.

  13. The flypaper is snapped up discreetly and the chocolate is left to melt. Everyone walks through, unknowing, taking the time to not see. Not me, though. Flypaper, chocolate, desktop, the soft buzz… it’s all apparent, practically inescapable. I snag one and savor it, not bothering to wipe my fingers.

  14. Isn’t today the PERFECT day to discuss this heavenly food that was set upon earth in the form of a cocoa bean? First of all, its Valentines Day, and you know what THAT means… Hershey’s bars, Hershey Kisses, Cookies’n’Cream Bars, Plain old chocolate, M’n’ms, Chocolate ROSES, and tons more. Second of all, I had benchmarks today and whaddya know, there was this [boring] excerpt on the production process of chocolate. I DONT CARE HOW ITS MADE, JUST GIMME SOME. I LOVEchocolatebutYOUain’tgettingany. <3

  15. I put the Chocolate into the container and started shaking. The puppy chow wasn’t making as it was suppose to and the Superbowl party was in an hour. I should have given up. But I stubbornly kept on going. Thank goodness I did!

  18. You catch my chocolate-browns with your ice blues and I melt, I go completely gooey, the corners of my lips turn up as my wobbly knees try to pull me down and the world tilts and my heart sings and I love you. Basically.

  19. Chocolate is a delicious food that I eat regularly. It can be dark, milk, or white chocolate, but each has its own special flavor. You can cook with chololate and make several different receips that are great to eat. How many times have you eaten chocolate and gotten a headache?

    by brad conner on 02.14.2011
  23. dark, grainy, sometimes smooth, but never smooth enough. It can’t melt without coating too thickly, the mouth is never warm enough to simply allow it free flow in your mouth. But free flow wouldn’t be entirely pleasurable either. Wearing down the edges od a sharp chocolate bar is one of sublimest victories.

  24. i love chocolate. it makes me happy. it might make me seem like a fatty but i love it :)

  25. Out of all the possible ideas that could be associated with a nation, I think Switzerland lucked out. To be almost synonymous with something so delicious, so wonderfully tasty is fantastic. Quaint yes, but absolutely better than war or imperialism.

  26. today was valentines day and lots of people got chocolate. it wasnt the filling rich chocolate that the anciant aztecs found thought. no, it was the sugar coated food dyed crappy candy stuff.

    by Sierra M on 02.14.2011
  27. What pleases the tongue. My gift to her to lean against her sweetness. Not vanilla. That cure all of pleasure.

  28. my favorite food.

  30. The sky turned chocolate and Jensen’s gaping mouth finally relaxed and began to close. The pain was subsiding now, but he didn’t want to let go of the clenched body just yet. How can the sky go ‘chocolate’? he thought. How unnatural. And then it began to rain brown rain. But it didn’t taste like chocolate. Well, not like sweet chocolate.

  31. sweet as chocolate
    sweet as poison
    she’s sweet
    she’s lovely
    but sharp
    and brutal
    the Libby

    perfect
    so wonderful
    you all love her
    but what about me?
    I’m not gone
    I’m still in there, somewhere
    see those scars?
    I put those there
    This is my body
    Not hers
but I can’t get her out of it.

    help me
    see me
    listen to me
    and maybe she’ll fade away
and I can be silent again
    unspeaking
    unmoving
    but me

  32. Chocolate is my favorite food. Well, not favorite, but it’s one of my top favorites. It helps you when you are stressed out and just all around tastes good. I especially think of this candy today since it is Valentine’s Day. Not a big fan of today. Not because I’m single just because it is a pointless government holiday.

    by Melissa on 02.14.2011

    by dann on 02.14.2011
  36. valentine’s day is when i hear the most about chocolate. however, i don’t really eat it. whether it is because I don’t want to get too fat or because I prefer an acne free face, i dunno. i know though that when i do crave it, i eat a bit. it is heaven. the more restrictions i put and then let myself indulge, the more delicious it is.

  39. Flowers and chocolate. Sappy, sappy, sappy, sappy. Don’t you dare say I’m bitter. I’m not. The worst things in my life have happened because of flowers and chocolate. Valentines day, last year, my older sister, Mariana was engaged to a monster. Clark proposed to her with her engagement ring hidden in a box of chocolates and bouquet of flowers. The card on the flowers read “Marry me hot stuff?” Ew. I hate him. Mariana now has 2 kids. Devil kids. And Clark has long left her and her dreams to care for her kids in an old appartment in the Bronx. I hate flowers and chocolate.
