  2. Its a sport for hot guys. Many Ivy League schools have a crew team. The men are always jacked. I wish I could have all of them, they are beautiful. They have muscles, and they are tan from being outside.

    by KT on 07.15.2012
  3. I cannot think about this word because all I can think about are these lyrics, these beautiful melodies and “I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I’m afraid of dying.” Mostly, I’m afraid of dying before I have done… everything. But isn’t dying something?

    by L.V.Newc on 07.15.2012
  4. She wasn’t exactly sure what was going on, but based on the way the crew kept leering at her with scurvied teeth and less than honorable looking intentions, the ordeal was far from over.

  5. row row row your boat

    there’s no “i” in team
    there’s no “eye” in team

  7. No you can’t go, they said over and over. no you aren’t ready. no you aren’t part of the group. but you had worked so hard on your costume. you had done the make up in all the proper ways, had even made your own costume. the shoes had pinched your feet horribly every night that you had practiced and you had blisters healing on your ankles. and still they said no. all because you were a member of the sound crew.

  8. The crew of my vessel stopped and looked at me. Were we really going to go charging into that dark caver filled with monsters all because one stole my dinner? Yes we were. They threatened mutiny, but I knew they’d comply, they need their paychecks after all. In this day and age where there are fewer ships by the day, they need jobs, and obeying my orders is their job.

  9. We were more than just a neighborhood dance crew. We were a pack. A group of people that came together as one and danced until sweat soaked through our clothes, and it made us feel important for once in our lives.

  10. makes me think of preppy guys rowing boats on the charles river. or a really corny way to refer to. your friends, as if they were sloppy pirates that followed you around.

  11. They were vastly small in the twilight of the day that was coming to a close. All around them was the deep, silent blue of the sea. What was known about them was nothing, and yet everything was known by the One that saw. They would live on for a lifetime of legacy, having no name but carrying on their shoulders the burden of all in their wake, past, present, and future. They were not the last, but they were also not the first.

  12. We’re all a bunch of hooligans, truthfully. There’s Jamie, the smart one. I never understood why she decided to hang out with us–the crazies–but after she made out with Janna–the slut–during the Homecoming game, I realized that she’s a lot more than I thought she was.

  14. A crew is an aggregate of trusted, reliable people. They should be there to assist another to carry out a duty or at least give great company.

  15. One day when I was hanging with my CREW we decided it would be fun to go down to the local JCREW. When we got there we were all “Yo mac- what are we doing here? – and why are we talking like it’s 1989?” “No clue cool cat let’s keep going.” We rummaged through the racks and found nothing.

  16. The capsule fell, like almost in slow motion–it looked like–from out the black twinkly black, and, kindof, like, slowly grew this little plume of fire around it, which just, sort of, flared slowly up around the outsides–like a plastic bag hooked on a fence blowing in the breeze–as it floated and rotated and fell down into the blue whispy blue. And it would have fell nicely, I think, right into the ribbings of the atmosphere, had it not been for that s-unit, which decouple up there, and tumbled down in a ball of matches and poofed right up over Greenland.

  17. the airline crew spent a lot of time getting everyone their food and beverages…unfortunately, they kept bumping everyone who they passed. it seemed like they especially bumped those who were trying to sleep. this is going to be a lonnnnnngggg flight…

  20. My pirate crew was ready. Their cardboard cutlasses caught the bare sunlight peeking out from the swarm of fog just right. Their tattered old T-shirts and jeans were ripped perfectly for the day. Costume store hats bedecked their brows. Cloth eyepatches. Plastic hooks.

I stood upon the bow of my grandfather’s old tugboat, swinging my sword around with my heavy red coat billowing in the wind.

  21. crew. Nectar and Charles stood outside Giants stadium tailgating, waiting fo rthe next act to take stage. The scantily clad, women and men alike, trotted back and forth with canes and golden caps donned.

  22. coming here to join the crew team was a mistake for my friend. i can tell. even though most others belong here, she doesnt. she’s always questioning being part of a team that she doesn’t even like. so i think, after quite some time, i know what i’m going to tell her: get out of here and find yourself in the while, ya CRAZY.

  23. The crew gathered together one last time before saying goodbye. They knew it would be unlikely that they would ever see each other again. It was heartbreaking, to think that all their years of friendship and comrade were over.

    by Neko on 07.15.2012
  24. my friends and i like to glue the inside parts of our fingers together and pretend we are fetuses becoming developed infants inside the womb. when we break the seals between our fingers and thumbs we feel brand new. my friends are strange.

  25. The group or the cut each is spare and contains an economy of presence designed to make the unit efficient in function. It is in the same word family as screw.

  26. The crew shuffled along the deck, scrubbing the sea water covered planks in preparation for the king of Nair who was to ride aboard that evening. Little did any of the sailors know that the deck would soon be stained with blood from the king’s royal blood.

  27. The crew ran up and down the deck, in all different directions. From the mast, the boatswain shouted orders over the roaring waves. The salt water blew into their faces, erasing the need for tears of fear or regret. The only thing on anyone’s mind was how to keep the ship from sinking.

  28. Crew. Solidarity. Uniformity. Is this what a crew is? I always imagined that I’d prefer to belong in a clique than a crew, but in reality they are the same exact things. Screw it, I’d rather be alone. I think.

  29. I have a crew. It’s constantly changing, but it’s grown with me throughout the years. My crew protects me, loves me, nourishes me, and needs me. And it’s reciprocal. If I can never find my duo, at least I have my crew.

  30. the crew is in. the crew members are wearing crew necks. they are yellow & have sailboats on them. The crew is tired, they have been sailing out in the mediteranean for days. 32. a crew is a group of people that work toward a goal on a project, i had a crew in appalachia when i went on a service project working on houses of people who couldn’t do it for themselves. I loved the teamwork and cooperation from everyone.

  33. The crew started construction on the stage this morning. It took them four hours to put up the floor and they hadn’t even started on the scaffolding to support the lights and speakers. I hope they get done in time for the sound check at 2 and then light check and then the openers instruments and… “Mr. Saints you have a phone call.” My assistant interupted my train of thought abruptly. “Who is it?” “Someone from the office wanting to know something about billing.” He was too new. I needed a veteran for this concert and they hired me an amateur.

  36. Crew to me conjures up images of my group of friends, and also my workmates. We had a terrible night at work the other night, so we had a “gathering” afterwards at one of their houses to drink and hang out together without customers.

  40. This crew was notorious for their mutinous attitude. Captain Dewey scratched his chin as he eyed them. How would he ever keep them under control. Aha! That’s it. He pulled out a Glock and loaded it. Just let ’em try.
