Crew is the people I work with everyday. My film buddies that help me bring our project to reality. The 24 Hour Film Race would not have been possible with us working together. It takes a good crew to get things done, and that is how we completed the race. We were all happy to have completed such a feat and I’m excited to see who wins!
“We’re a crew,” he promised, extended his pinky to me. “Me, you, and all our friends. A crew. Remember when we learned that word? Crew.”
We linked pinkies and shook, but I knew it wouldn’t last and he knew he didn’t mean it. We were at the end of elementary school, on the brink of middle school. Pinky promises meant everything. Pinky promises meant nothing. We were never a real crew, and we never stayed one. We were always two separate people, meant to pass each other silently in high school. Our promise has faded, along with our childhood friendship, and I’ve been left in the shadows of our hopeful crew.
For every team there is a crew. And that crew usually consists of trustworthy people who the leader can trust to get the job done. Like I always say, it takes a leader to lead the group, but a crew to make up the group. But that is just me. For haute couture, you have to have a crew of 20 people before you can even be considered ‘haute couture’. On pirate ships, the captains has his crew which makes the food and pulls the rigs. A crew is what makes the team a team.
a group of friends. your crew is the people you surround yourself with, who defines you. this crew can take you anywhere, it could also hold the most important people in your life. …or just be a gang. but gangs are bad. so we’ll stay with the positive side of this one.

The ship swayed and rocked in the waters making them all sick, and the bunks smelled absolutely awful. After a fitful sleep, Peter woke up to silence. Others began to wake up as well. Soon they were all running out of the bunks joyous that the storm had stopped. Simon shouted,”Land!” and everybody cheered.
