Last week I went for a bike ride with friends. We turned a corner of the trail and saw a tree had fallen, and just on the other side of the fallen tree was a deer. Beyond her, in the woods, were two fawns. I have never been so close to a deer before. It was awe inspiring to see it there with its family under a canopy of trees.
Deer. Like dear. Except that one is an animal and the other has antlers. jk. (And deer don’t really have antlers, do they? Meh. Whatever) So… deer. Religious songs :P “As the deer pants for water…”
I’m not very good at this.
he came to me. so close that i could see his eyes trow the darkest night i would ever experiment. and then, in that moment when you don’t know what is true and what’s a dream, he disapear.
something that get hit by car & trucks easily on the road. these are the casualty of the road when people don’t pay attention to the things on the side of the road along with the road itself. these four-legged animals are wild and will attack when provoked by humans.
I want to run like a deer through the woods. Fast and beautiful, so graceful. The doe is such a lovely, gentle creature. Strong and beautiful. Just like a woman.
a deer was standing by the highway.
“it happens all the time here in scandinavia”.
it could’ve happened all the time there, but i wasn’t used to it.
it made my blood freeze and my hands turned colder.
My friend is a model and has this doe-eyed look that the cameras love. She looks so stunning on film, quite a beauty, and so classy. When you meet her though, she is the craziest silliest person I know. Here’s to her, a wonderful friend, a wonderful person.
I was walking down the road and I saw a deer. He was eating icecream. I told him I liked his pajamas and he asked me if he could walk with me on my way home. I let him, and on the way there we met another deer. This one was dirty and had an eyepatch, so we were a bit startled. To no surprise, he abruptly pulled out a knife and demanded all of our money. The first deer nobly stepped forward and said NO, YOU WILL NOT TAKE OUR MONEY! Then proceeded to attack him. They rolled around on the ground and the clinking of antlers could be heard for miles. Unfortunately, neither of them lived. On the bright side I didn’t have to buy any meat for weeks…
Deer are an animal they have antlers and they like to jump. you find them on the isle of lewis a lot of the time where i live and they come out in front of the cars for some reason. deer caught in the headlights is an expression for this reason.
deer diary,
today life was good. Joshua amited he loved me. I think i love him too. He is awfuly wealthy, mama would be proud. Not to mention his father own the company “DEER” which is doing awfully well, so i guess i love him too.
I saw two deer a couple days ago while driving in the valley. It was a mother and a fawn. I would have really loved to stop and observe them in their natural habitat but there was a BMW driving rather quickly behind me. I wanted to point to the deer to let them know what beauty sat right next to us, but I refrained and drove on.
i saw a baby deer in a picture today. It was very cute. I think the first time I saw a deer was driving home from the drive-in theater with my mother. It was very late at night, and my mother slowed way down so that I could see it on the side of the highway as we were getting off the exit. In Florida, there were a whole bunch of deer in Holly’s front yard.
four of them stare into the headlights of the car, but it passes and a small girl pulls down the window to wave, no wrecks here, just kindness and, well, the deer looked on, baffled. each, one by one, gracefully leaps over the white fence off into a distant home a beautiful memory passed
Just a deer in the headlights. I see you coming but I stand frozen in fear. It’s all going in slow motion and I wonder, “Should I run?” But then before I can think of an answer, you hit me head on. And suddenly I think to myself as my life fades away, “I should have run.”
A few weeks ago I went hunting with my Father. It was a cold and dark morning. The frost from our breaths hung in the air about us like swirling fog. Hours drone by, until I hear something. At first, faint, like a trickle…but growing ever louder still. Soon enough a twig snapping behind a tree reveals the beast we’ve been waiting for.
deers get hit by cars sometime when people drive on the high ways. theyre big animals. they tastel..uumm..i dont know. they have long things on their heads and they are usually brown colored. so theyre cool!rayrock.com
My dad hunts those. He took me out one night and we sat for hours. finally a doe and a baby came out. “Are you gonna shoot it, dad?” I asked hopefully. “No, we have enough deer at home. I just want to look.” “Then why are we here?” From the mouths of babes.
I can’t stop thinking about the word think. And deer.think. deer. think. deer.think. deer. think.deer.think. All I can think about is the word think and deer and nothing else. How am I supposed to write without thinking if all I can think about is the word think?! DEER. DEER. DEER. THINK.THINK.THINK.
four of them stare into the headlights of the car, but it passes and a small girl pulls down the window to wave, no wrecks here, just kindness and, well, the deer looked on, baffled. each, one by one, gracefully leaps over the white fence off into a distant home, a beautiful memory passed
A deer ran through the thick brush, tail flickering absently in withdrawal of emotions and fear. Fear drives this creature in the moment and in life. There is nothing around. Only the trees and the deer fleeing. As it continues on, heart bleating desperately, the grass gradually becomes brown. The world has ended. Death is around. Brown fades to black and in black there is total darkness.
Deer, I see them in the forests sometimes. They’ve been a common nuisance at times because they constantly jump out at drivers in the middle of the night. Therefore, drivers have to be more careful, especially on narrow forest routes for these creatures. But it is human’s fault as well; we cut through forests and by doing so, we cut through their homes.
Deer. Graceful living, breathing things that are innocent enough to stop and stare when utter doom shines in their eyes. Graceful, pretty, gorgeous, peaceful. The symbol of grace and beauty. Deer.
the purple deer was running in the street when a big car came. The deer stopped and looked at the car, scared beyond all reason. The driver slammed his breaks on, swerving to avoid the deer, who had bolted behind a tree. The car burned rubber and slid into a stop sign. The deer went over to see if the driver was alright.
Oh my dear deer, what have you done?! The chairs are upon the table and my socks are in the coffeemaker! I know now not to leave you alone with the keys to my house.
the deer bounced over spongy ground layered in years of fallen pine needles. kicking its legs in the air in an attempt to hurt the wind that refuses to blow the pesky flies from its back.
there was a deer named harry and he ate alot of berries he like to eat berries so much that he ate way to many. He exploded all over the trees and it was ver y purple and stucicky and gross and it was sad. Then his son Larry came along and ate the berry juice a
animal. it’s nice and brown and a female is calleda doe. it reminds of spring and has horns according to chandler. it’s spotted .bAMBI is a deer. and he has a friend called thumper. i don’t really like this exercise. ummmmmmm deer starts with a d. and end with a r. i am having problems iwth typing at this moment.
this one time i encountered a deer up close and personal. it was just the deer and i. nobody around us, only flora and fauna. we looked right into each others eyes, and just knew in both our hearts that we understood one another. it was as simple as that.
is an awesome animal… it’s majestic and shit. but if you hit it with a car – shit man, that’s gotta suck.. well anyway.. it tastes quite nice as well.. with lots of sauce
It pranced through the woods, trying to escape the horror of what was to follow. Would she escape in time, it was unknown, but she didn’t give up. There was a gun shot, one last heart beat, she fell to the ground, un-moving, broken, gone, for the deer has been killed. The dear was dead.
so i am pretty sure i was driving once and it was with matthew, and we were slowing down because he was nervous about the deer. i don’t really care about the deer because we have a surplus of them in my area, and even though they can severely damage a car, we seriously need to get their population under control. it was a fun night though
she was waiting in the woods as we approached. frightened and alone. she pranced away, but slowly, giving one last look to the strangers walking through her forest.
I see the horns that hide your pride, lost in a forest of an untimely death. Endearing the mist of poisonous bullets to your providing flesh. A family will live for the sacrificed sentence of glory. Your pride will be mounted on the wall of a lost cabin, belonging to a lost fed soul. You wont even be a missed memory of a forest of friends.
deer are cute. My boyfriend has deer at his apartment, they come to feed every morning. Beautiful really….
They live off the Humber River.
Deer also tastes awesome…..
