In today’s digital age, many people are crippled by the lack of human interaction. Most conversations take place via text message or are posted on Facebook. People don’t even need to leave their houses any more to do their grocery shopping or buy things from the store. Bookstores have become obsolete with sites like Amazon.com. If people want human interaction, they pop open their webcam and view people over a computer screen.
the death of the classical world. The beginning of a new era of human communication. A technology that has harnessed the immense productivity of the human race while alienating and destroying much of what makes us human. Something I can’t live without.
I think digital cameras are used to make more historical cameras out of life and they don’t have any say in it. I just want to know why we are so blind to the new future trying to destroy our lives like they did to any other historical fact they have made disappear. Don’t take this personally but I have the future
I am a digital immigrant. I work on a computer all day long, but rarely want to spend my leisure time on it. I am computer literate, but lack some of the finer digital technology skills that my students possess.
digital. I think digital clocks, then planes. Planes that are flying far and far away, to another place. Another place with another apartment. Another apartment with another human with their digital clock on their night stand.
Nobody ever asked him if he wanted the digital clock. Nobody ever thought perhaps he’d preferred the analog with its two steady hands and the ruthless, constantly ticking third. He’d enjoyed the precision, and while he knew the new clock was good enough and advanced enough that he could set it to show him every second as well as each minute and hour, it wasn’t the same. No real movement. No conscious effort.

Things were much simpler a 100 years ago, before the digital age. A family dinner was a gathering time, a place where young and old could come together and share their day, their experiences, have some laughs and enjoy their time together. Those days are sadly missed now with video games, tv, computers and all the other digital entertainment that drive us away from those precious times.
camera’s. I love digital camera;s. slr’s. photograpy. the way you can capture one memory in a single second. just take a picture of any moment. and keep it forever. and ever. develloping pictures. being digital. having digital things. life is digital nowadays.
cameras are fun, but complicated. I always get blurry pictures, maybe I see things blurry? I love that I view my blurry pics right then and there, but that makes me miss the surprise of dropping off your film and opening up the envelope to see what came out, probably more blurry pics.
Cameras and photography…bright lights, old memories. brings me back. Washed out faces. Princess movies and sleepovers. It stings a little…I don’t know why.
Digital is all that stuff that gets in the way of actual human contact. Today we don’t have to know where we are going or where we are when we get there because we have gps. We don’t even have to know what we are doing because someone with text us.
digital! that’s a huge thing to cover. everything is digital, which is weird, because it’s not tangible. what do we do if everything that is digital is gone? it’d be gone forever. i miss tangibility, which is why i still buy books, real book, and why i miss real pictures you can hold in your hand. digital is great. it is great for sharing. but it seems almost unreal.
When I think of digital I think of digital clocks. I think of the clock I wake up to every morning. I think of how clocks have changed over the years and how many kids these days don’t know how to read the clocks with hands
Digital: dream, you only dream about ones and zeros. But they become something grand in the face you show the world. You hold so much and it all consist of 1 and 0.
In this digital age, I fear communication has been lost among people. We no longer know how to communicate with people face to face, or even over the phone. Text messages have replaced phone calls. Emails have replaced thank you cards (and any and all rules governing grammar, punctuation, and capitalization).
How is it that I have lost the ability to read a clock. Lost in the world of the digital, numbers that are not made up of blood red electrical currents have lost their meaning. What is it that the digital clock has taken from me?
And all the world didn’t exist anymore, everything was just digital. No more books, no more food, no more friendship. everything was now controlled by what was on your display. The world was now completely digitalized, and now everything has changed.
photography, fun, fake, uncontrolable and controlable, some thing I use other than film, though I prefer film over digital photography any day. I ‘m at loss of what to say not enough time to complete all my thoughts.
I love to learn about digital. What secrets is it hiding? How will it make my life easier. I love the way that digital is so intuitive. It seems like someone has read my thoughts and knows exactly what I need
the pictures in her camera were my favorites. i looked so happy the light touched every part of my face and made me glow with something that had to be love.
I’m not afraid to say that we are digital. Composed of organic matter, shapes into something mechanical. We awake everyday to the sound of a beep, function on a timer and work until the batteries run dead. But this digital life has become the best friend of mine and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Let’s live digital and live forever.
digital digital get down. just you and me. we can get together naturally baby we’ll be together on the digital screen. n*sync reminds me of the holidays when i was young.. choreographing dances to boy band music and forcing my cousin and brother to dance with me.
Digital media is present in almost everything in recent times. In fact, digital technology is the only reason I’m able to type this right now. Let’s hear it for the pixels!
I was looking into my bag to find something I didn’t even know I had with me. I found my digital camera and started to take pictures. Then I realized I was capturing the whole world in a second and it will be locked in me forever.
it amazing it makes everything more fun and better :) its so amazing:) just like the weather who doesnt love it its so nice:) and so is the end of the year woohhhhwwwwww it so great this year has gone by so fast !!!!!!!!
I took digital design last year and i must say that it was a fun and easy class. I learned most of everything pretty fast and helped my friends do things they didn’t catch on to very well.
Digital is amazing. It’s like technological. I’m in a technologyish class right now. It’s more interesting then other classes where you just sit there and do stuff. At least in this class you sit there and do stuff on computers.
hobos hae nothing digital. Its too bad they dont have the technological advantages that we have. They might but if they can afford to buy digital things then they are wasting their change. thats what they get for being hobos.
Digital is a lot simpler than any other forms of information therefore more likely to accurate. But things that isn’t digital but does the same thing is lot cooler because the are complicated.
It’s a generation. Our lives have been taken over by phones and the internet. When was the last time you read a book under a tree with the sun beating down on you? If you’ve done it recently, the chances are it was on an e-reader, so don’t even think about answering yes if you own a kindle.

DIGITAL: we all know people that think that they are the center of the universe.and we all know people that think that they are an insignificant speck

The digital universe is so crazy.
Video chat with family in Australia? Seconds.
Facebook stalking.
Following all of the famous people you’re so nosey about on Twitter and know their every (totally staged and public) move?
The digital universe, it’s hard to tell if it’s helping our hurting us as people…
