My dilemma is life how it just tortures me, night in and day out. I can’t stand it. It suffocates me. Not letting me live my life. The dilemma that I face everyday is myself. It’s the way I cause harm upon myself and others. It’s how I can not stand the simple struggle that everyone seems to easily handle. The people around me do not seem to notice how I struggle through my dilemma.

The dilemma with having to write about dilemma is not knowing what to say. Actually it’s not that hard because everyone has dilemmas. If you don’t you’re not really living. So what is my biggest dilemma? You might say it’s having too much time on my hands if this is what I’m doing on a Monday night in Hamburg, Germany.
I stared down the hole. The sun glinted off my ring as it fell. One word filled my mind: Crap. That was gonna cost me more than a grand. it may just cost me my life. Or my engagement at least. There was an echoing ping. I had just dropped my fiancee’s great grandmother’s ring into a chasm that was at least 3 stories deep. Tears began to run down my cheeks. This was not good. David would probably leave me and his mother would positively tear me to shreds.

The car came to a screeching halt outside the apartment. I had seen the taxi fly by a moment earlier and wasn’t certain exactly WHAT its issue was. Apparently, the driver either didn’t know how to stop, or the breaks were gone, because the “halt” as I observed it only occurred due to a tree standing directly outside the door. The driver had flung himself from his seat moments before impact and seemed to be fine aside from a few scrapes and bruises. A neighbor had dialed 911 and was talking in rushed words over the phone, trying to get an ambulance and perhaps some officers on-scene. I’d had an important dinner date I was trying to get to, and that taxi had been my ride. Now I had to wait for the legal issues to be taken care of before I could even think of calling another or meandering to the subway. I supposed, as far as excuses went, a legal dilemma was one of the few that might keep me from being fired.
I walked into the bathroom, my hair a mess. It took a while to undo the tangles. I reminded myself of a teenage girl on a bad hair day. It hurt with every brush stroke. I was crying by the time it was over. I didn’t even have time to straighten. Two mm’s really just doesn’t cut it for how much of a dilemma I was in.
It was a messy thing. Such a big dilemma. A dilemma that Corinne could understand. I couldn’t, of course. The angry just hit me so hard, and I went out of the room, hoping that someone would tell me what was happing in there.
