He is still trying to make sense of why he is in this room, working so hard to impress a foreign school, when he can just be at home waiting for the green light to fill the gray loading bar of DotA. For his future, maybe. But when his father dies he’s pretty sure he won’t be inheriting the business anyway.

  8. The amount I have for a test. It could be one minute, or one hour, but either way, I only had a small amount of time and my future was relying on this grade. It would tell me how my reading and math skills compare and how well i do in school. Lets see how it turns out.

  12. During the time that it took for met to eat the cereal, I wondered, why did it take me so long? I eat this every morning. Shouldn’t the process get quicker every morning? Like waking up. I just have more and more trouble waking up every morning. Shouldn’t it get easier with routine.

  16. The duration of love depends on how spiritual you are, love is the infinite wisdom, within it is everything, its duration is infinite also. We don´t know how to love, that is the real crisis of humanity. Our love is conditioned to the other, and even to ourself. Infinite love, in power, in duration, in light, in magnitude. Not conditioned on others actions. That´s the only way to enlighten our lifes. With out it we are pure animals. Nothing else.

  17. Throughout the duration of this time, I thought about how short of time I have to write this what I want to be masterpiece. My first time on her and I’ve already fallen in love and to stress with this website. Hopefully, my sixty seconds may be extended. Most likely not. But hey, did Mozart create his masterpieces in sixty seconds… I think not.

  19. The duration of the flight is always what they call it, as if a flight is always something to be endured. I suppose that’s usually true–but sometimes they can be beautiful. Even though I was flying at night only because I had had to sit in the airport for hours, it was beautiful to fly above the lightning, above the clouds and among the stars, looking down on city lights.

  20. the duration of the drive was incredibly long, but they kept going as the white line blurred in front of them and the grass burned around them. Neal turned to his friend and asked them where they were going and to be honest he didn’t really know, he just followed hte road where it went, and where it stopped they would stop too. When he didn’t saying anything Neal understood and threw his bogey out hte window and watched the line fade away.

  29. The amount of time it might someone to perform a task. I like to say the duration of a task depends on the person doing it. People who over think will always take too long and those who think they are always right take seconds. Maybe this word doesn’t have as much meaning as I think…

  30. She slammed the door behind her as she stepped into the room. Still, he did not turn to look at her. He just stood there with his face turned away.

    She walked over and reached for the glass of scotch in his hand. As she approached she noticed a single tear on his cheek. She paused.

    “I.. I’m sorry…” she started. He did not respond.

    The moment’s silence and duration became equally unbearable.

    Finally, he turned around. Without a word, he put down his glass, stepped towards her and embraced her. They held each other close until their tears ceased to flow.
