If only I could feel embraced. I am so disconnected from everything. It’s like I exist in solitary confinement. Neither an adult or a child, incapable of a decision.

And there, clutched so tightly to the womans’ chest, was where she felt the safest in years. With whispers of “Hush, it’ll be okay.” resonating in her ear, the girl began to dream of of a world where everything was okay.
I am not big on embracing things! I like to keep things the way they are! I don’t like trying new foods! I dont like eating fruits and vegetables or any of that stuff! I dont embrace much except new hot guys or new cute clothes or new friends!
We embraced in the middle of the storm. Just then, as I pulled away, eager to go to the shelter of the gas station’s overhead, he leaned in and kissed me. Despite the water filling our boots and the wind stinging our skin, it was the best kiss I could have asked for.
As he fell he moved his good arm, the right one, to brace himself for the impact the ground was surely going to have. Death’s embrace was welcoming him home, or at least that’s what it looked like.
I embraced him as he stood in my doorway, blue eyes sparkling, hair unruly and playful. He is always so huggable, fitting perfectly in my arms, a little curve in his hips for my arms to settle. I breathed in his scent, stronger always when he sweats, but he wasn’t sweating yet, but the first smell is always perhaps, the best.
The feeling you get when you and the other person love each other. Not necessarily romantic. But it is a beautiful exchange of friendship. Safety and love. And peace. Lots and lots of peace. You are home. They are home. You get to a beautiful place in your friendship.
love, something about hugging, you know that feeling you get when youre hugged by sone, but it’s more than hug, it’s something more powerful. When you’re embraced by someone you feel them. When you’re hugged you just feel. It’s a hard word to explain but it’s a beautiful word.
