A feeling of elation. The Eureka moment. When you can feel the puzzle fitting together in your brain. That is an epiphany. It is the feeling when you finally understand something, whether it’s a simple basic concept or something you’ve puzzling out for weeks.
I realised what I had wanted most in my life. I felt accepted and valued for the first time ever and I also felt…relaxed. What a strange feeling. In 27 years, I never consciously felt that way.
We spend our lives moving from one moment to the next, just trying to get by. But what if there’s something more, something we’re missing? Something we’ve been searching for all along but were too short-sighted to see?
epiphany! i love this word–not only in terms of its meaning but also of its sound. this is the moment we realize why we were born in the first place. it’s been always hidden, and epiphany is the moment of the revelation of it.

Once when I was in a dream, I saw a golden light and rain came down on my face. Golden, glistening. That’s what I feel like when I think of the word epiphany. It’s something kind of crazy and beautiful but magically a golden moment in your life.
He slowly raised himself onto his elbows and surveyed the carnage. There was flour everywhere and still the air was thick. It coated every surface. Some had even settled on the open wounds that covered him and the other bakery patrons. Like frosting. From the back of room camecoughing. Nearer therewasamoan. And a small “…fuck…”. He had gone too far. It was time to diet.
A life changing even that somehow MIGHT turn a person to a great path or something worse if misunderstood. Personally, I haven’t had this yet, and maybe never will. I’m good without it though.

I’ve had a few epiphanies in my life – the most important being that I want to write. I’m just waiting for an epiphany to let me know what it is that I want to write, exactly.
This always makes me think of the movie Dogma. When Ben Affleck has his epiphany. I never used to know what that word meant til I saw that movie. Now that I do know what it means, I think it’s probably one of, if not the most, beautiful word in the English language.
I had an epiphany the other day. Suddenly I knew nothing could change the way I viewed my world. I alone could adapt and adjust to see the reality around me, but my ability to perceive remained unflappable.
the student banged his head against the cover of his laptop, muttering “stupid. stupid. stupid. stupid,” for what seemed like hours on end. “dude, you’re losing brain cells,” his girlfriend deadpanned from the couch. “i have none to lose.” she rolled her eyes and sauntered over, staring at the program on his screen. leaning forward, she pointed at a section of the code. “you missed a function.”
he stared blankly at the screen for a moment. “OH GOD, EPIPHANY! THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU!” she rolled her eyes and just grinned.
My earliest memory of epiphanies are when my step dad and i talked about epiphanies and then he said that if he has one on the toilet he will call it an epiphish*t.
Her eyes were sad, she sat in the room just thinking. Dark thoughts crossed her mind when finally she had an epiphany. Her life wasn’t based off of others, it was all hers. Just because people didn’t like who she was didn’t mean she was a bad person. This was her life, she had to live it. The next day she awakened with a big smile on her face, and when she saw him she reached out a held his hand, and made her way through life…happily.
His eyes opened wider. “I know what to do.”
He leapt down from the hammock, his knees buckling as he hit the ground, and ran towards the car.
“But where are you going?”
“I’ll be back soon!” He called out behind him as he swung the door closed, the engine starting rapidly.

i wish i had these more often, its such an amazing feeling. a moment of blissful understanding. maybe ill have one soon? last one i ever had was in math. what a wonderful day it was .

Then, he had an epiphany! He tied curtains, blankets, anything together to make a long rope to ground level. “They won’t ever know!” He smiled mischievously.
When you’re just sitting around and all of a sudden you realize something. That moment that makes you go “wow”. Sometimes is good, sometimes not so much.
I like to experience epiphany with the awakening of every moment, as if every moment is new, with a new thought arising and something new to gain, to hope for. The word epiphany is so star-like, so ethereal, so lovely that it brings new life to the moment. I hope to have an epiphany time after time, to become something new.
