  8. The smell that fills my senses with an odd familiarity. Like walking into a house you’ve never entered and knowing all the rules. I’ve smelled this fragrance before but the memory is distant. It may not even exist.

    by Lauren on 02.08.2011

  16. what is it about someones scent that drives one wild. that ting of sweet sugar that a female spritzes on herself, or that hot smell that just screams “yeah thats a man”. What is it about a fragrance that drives human instinct to fornicate?

  17. It smelled like France. Not like a baguette, but of the entire essence of the place. She reminded me of a better place, and boy, was I glad to wake up next to her in the morning. She tells me to move with her, but I can’t. Schooling isn’t important to her, and I only wish she could understand how badly I want to be a chemist.

  18. Her sleep was fitfull; her mind full of strange symbols. Turning over she opened her eyes. Maria lifted her head and sniffed the air. There was that fragrance again. Breathing out her breath swirled in front of her like a smokey cloud. It was so cold in the room, she shivered. She felt silky fingers brush her skin. “Who’s there?” she whispered.

  20. It smells so fine, like spring time all year long. It can be sweet and buttery like cookies at Christmas. It can be seductive and charming, or it can be awful and smell like you’ve been rolling in garbage.

    by Shannon Wells on 02.08.2011
  21. Smell the smell,
    See the sights.

    Take notice of details,
    Leave the rest to life.

    Something as simple,
    As a flower’s fragrance

    Can bring back the meaning
    Can bring back remembrance.

  26. Like a wave against a rock
    the intoxicating smell bears down
on my nose the law on a bandit.

    Memories of laying in bed
    flood my thoughts and all
I can taste is the mint of gum
that your tongue always taste like.

  27. Even though you’re a thousand miles away I can still remember every detail of your face, every mark on your body. Sometimes if I allow my mind to wonder far enough, I can still remember the intimate tracing of your fingertips across my skin. Invisible fingerprints embedded in a sea of hope. These are the moments in which I would breathe in deeply, it seemed, for the first time. Inhale, you. Exhale, you. Breathing to survive.

  28. a disgusting thing that flies into my face while walking through the mall. worse yet, it is the first thing i notice when descending from Mt. Rainier. The thing that tells me I am about to come back to reality. To where people actually choose the things they do to wear on their bodies. Like some primitive mating call. And it strikes you first, then the finish is always the most bitter of all…why?

I used to visit every day
Early before the sun even thought to rise

    I’ve moved on now
but your memories will always remain

    Rose thorns.
    Your aura is sickening

  33. Her fragrance wasn’t at all enchanting. She wore only a hint of perfume, probably left from the day before. But it was that lack, that lack of caring that made her so inticing. Made you want to bury your nose in her neck and breath her in until there was nothing left, just so the world did have any chance. She looked up with a smile and laughed, mocking my expression.

  34. Everyone always tells me I have a very specific scent. Alisa once described it as a good smell mixed with a bad smell to create a good smell. I think it’s a combination of the deodorant I’ve used since I was 12, showing every few days, and lots of daydreaming.

  35. I smell the delicious fragrance of my Childs breath as he excitedly tells me he just ate seven Bambas!

    by Yael on 02.08.2011

  39. The fragrance of the flowers wafted towards Brad. He grimaced and turned away, feeling that the beauty of the flowers shouldn’t be ruined by his image. After all, he is a monster. A killer. A soldier. Without a soul or a hope for a decent night’s sleep.

    by Ashley on 02.08.2011
