i used to have incense in my room, and i really miss that. when i was going out with a certain boy, he used to light them when we would get all cozy in his bed so now the smell of incense always reminds me of him. i saw him the other day on haight street. hes a transient now

smoke plumes filling, pouring, absolving. safety. i cover my sinful tracks with a seemingly noble scent. fragrance. pouring forth again i light another. and another. i am awash in hollow safety, surrounded by hollow imitators. i lie. i have to, if only for a seemingly sacrosanct activity.

Incense burned as she progressed down the aisles of the church. The priest had been along earlier shaking that burner he always had around, but she now couldn’t find it. It wasn’t an easy job that she had to do. If only she could bring that incense with her when she went.

I smelled the incense as the priest waved it over the coffin. Never liked the smell. It smelled nasty, not sweet or floral. Heavy

Incense wafted out of the little shop in the alleyway. She hesitated at the door — being a good girl, she had never been into one of those shops, and she wasn’t sure she was ready to break that habit now. But it was the only place in the whole city to buy myrrh, and she had to know.

Incense is the remedy to rid that house of aweful smells. It can be used to cover up animal smells or even to create a particular atmosphere.

The smell of incense is like that of a candle. In fact, incense can come in the form of a candle. Maybe incense and candles are the same thing…or maybe there is another word that I’m confusing incense with. I have no idea! I like the smell of cinnamon incense…i think….

Incense smells nice. Ususally, it is used for aromatherapy, and also in wiccan and pagan rituals, including burnign witches at the stake. Many people these days believe that witches exist, but burnings are increasingly less common than in the old days. Burning is illegal now, but witchcraft isnt. What the fuck is wrong?

the incense smelled wonderful as it floated through the air, floating in gray swirls around the room

The room was full of musk and perfumes so unguent he swooned at it’s thickness.

Nag Champa. The smell reminds me of a cold afternoon sipping Snickerdoodle in a little white house on a large college campus. The background music….Sarah McClaghlin…Memories.

incense burns and I smell opium. Like my first time smoking the odd drug, i remember the distinct feeling that washed over me. At that moment, I knew I would have no problem calling this place home if I could have this smell in my nose.

Incense is a fragrant stick that gets used by Plankie and all the other Hindu’s. My friend and I however think it smells like cat urine though. It was in their house by the see. Incense can make you horny if its the right flavour!

The incense let off a heavy cloud of perfumed smoke, choking me as I tried to find my way out of the room. Lavender, lemongrass, patchouli- I could hardly keep my wits about because my senses were so bogged down with the abundance of stimuli. I groped for a wall, eventually finding one, and slid down to a sitting position and just let myself fall asleep, drifting away before I could make it out of the room, as I had done in so many dreams so many times before.

The heavy arroma from the incense made the room full of love and laughter. The smell created a relaxing environment everyone enjoyed.

It used to be rather annoying, the sandlewood scent of his incense permeated every fiber of their windowless studio apartment. She was pretty sure it drifted thru the walls into Ms. Griffin’s place too, layering itself over decades of old woman smell. Now that they’d “moved on”, she found herself occaisionally lighting a wand of the stuff. She watched it’s smoke drift over her leather sofa toward her open bay window. My, my he was a long time ago.

We are our own incense, the fragrance of life to those around us. God’s incense diffuses through us. The aroma of our self spreads through the room, whether sweet or sour.

Incsense it burns it smells wonderful with it’s aroma of mint and wintergreen, yet it leaves me felling both calm and aroused at the same time the smoke that billows is like my spirt ever lifting higher to the sky above. Like smoke it only wishes to fly.

The smell of the incense covered the room. The smell of mint coverd the house. The incense was not only calming but it was so relaxing. I use to think the smell of an incense was just to make something smell good but it could be used to relax you also.
By Brittney on 11.09.2009
She reached over, and touched the flame to the slender stick, and then shook it carefully away, watching the twin tails of smoke weave upwards towards the ceiling. The match smoke quickly faded, leaving only the trail of the incense, winding for heaven, hopefully, bringing her prayer with it.

The incense filled the room with a sense of love and aroma. he knew that his time was for the marriage. Not sure what to do, he came out with an answer to tell her, just as he was interrupted by an unexpected guest.
