    There were a few things that needed saying, is all.

    But, with the exception of NOT knowing a worrisome detail or two on his end, all of the things had already been said. Still true.

  3. He had true integrity, which was something I severly lacked. Maybe that’s what made Eliana like him so much. Maybe that was why he was so easy to open up to. We were so different, yet we went well with each other, and it was incredibly refreshing.

  4. do what you say and say what you do. it seems like nobody has this quality anymore. everywhere i look i see people saying one thing and doing another or doing one thing and saying another.

  5. Integrity is lost. Our society is trying to find it, maybe not even trying… Integrity is rare, and i value it so much more because of it. Integrity is what you live by. It’s how you live.

  6. ooh ooh ooh. so many have it, so many more don’t. Difficult to define even harder to maintain. Like the paradox of the modern interpretation of ego, integrity will always be a difficult one!

Honesty was for those who didn’t know what they wanted in life. No, that wasn’t true. Honesty was for people who didn’t know how to GET what they wanted in life. Yes, yes, that was it.

    He chuckled and spread his cards across the table.

  10. It was one of my grade 6 teachers’ key words. I never really understood what it meant and he could never really explain it. What a bother. I still am not sure i understand it – but I use it a lot. Isn’t that funny? I think it is to do what is right… but maybe all that matters is that you understand it in your heart.

  11. Someone worthy of respect has integrity, someone how doesn’t care what people think about them has integrity, who is willing to give a peace of them to save a peace of someone else, someone who is humble in their good deed has integrity.

  12. I like to think I have a fair amount of integrity, but is thinking that immodest and, consequently, a sign of less integrity? So many questions, so much self-analysis, so little actual work or moral whatever getting accomplished. Integrity is integral, but that seems to run counter to how integrity is — know what I mean?

  13. An important value in a leader. Especially for a president, integrity is a vital aspect for qualification. Integrity means being an honest, just, and good intentioned person. The world world would e a much better place if more people had integrity.

  17. I think integrity means that you are honest and that people can rely on you.

  18. How can I do as you ask? While keeping my integrity intact? The word itself, means: adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. I can not be honest while divided in two. It just is not possible. Understanding this and coping with it are difficult things. I beg you try…

  20. I don’t know what integrity means…. um, it sounds pretty serious though. Maybe it means like respect. Yeah that sounds about right. :)

  26. i used to have a lot of it, at least I thought I did. Lot’s of self-knowledge, maturity, etc., it’s typical for a precocious thirteen year old. “I know myself very well,” I was fond of saying. It seems sometimes I was born old and grow younger and less mature with every passing year.

  30. I like to think integrity is important. I’m not sure what it means, but if I’m right it means to be sincere in what you do and how you act. Be true to yourself.

Like a lost sock in your room, it disappears from sight into the vast and endless land of lost things, and you can never again reclaim it as your own. It’s gone, and no amount of wishing will bring it back again.

  34. Integrity can mean honesty, but it can also mean strength. Or maybe it just means both. Because it takes strength to be honest when you don’t have to. Unless you have a loud conscience. Why don’t i think about this word more?

  37. Integrity, what a slippery word. Either you have it or you don’t. I always thought I had it but after the past couple of days I wasn’t so sure anymore. I mean, really, I had lied, cheated and stolen so where was my integrity now? Even if it was justified, or so I thought.

  38. The integrity of the promise was at stake here. I had to go through and finish it because all those years ago I made a small promise. It blows my mind to see where it has gone now. But I knew what I doing. At least, I kind of did.

  39. I think integrity is something beautiful. In today’s society people are expected to out themselves all the time to get attention. For someone to have integrity I think is admirable.

  40. What’s-his-name was handing out pamphlets and building neon signs without even realizing these things were anti-integrity. Rather rude, if you ask me. Man, Lucy is totally gonna win thanks to her integrity.
