to be keen…to be clever to be smart to be quick to pick up on things..thats what it is to be keen..is it better to be keen or maybe to be ignorant? why do some wish they knew and yet some wish they didn’t

my keenness is the keenest when it’s late at night. The lights are on in my room although the lights are off outside. Everything is at peace so i feel most keen.

He plucked a secluded star from the sky and turned it over in his hand. Looking back up the sky, he saw another lonely white star, so he held up the one he took and put it back into the sky, right by the other star.

No matter what happens to me, the good and the bad, life is good. I can’t let the bad get me down. I know that in the end, it’s all worth it. I’m growing through this storm, and in the end, life is still peachy keen.

Keen. To be very eager. For example, I am not too keen to do the dishes. Or, she was keen to exit her grandma’s flaming kitchen. Actually, believe it or not, this word (keen) is also used as an Irish funeral song that includes wailing as accompaniment. Fascinating, no? The things you learn.

I’m really quit angry because I just spilled soda all over the carpet in my room.. I’m not too keen on bringing beverages in here, but I did. And what happens when I do? Soda everywhere. Ugh.
By Rebecca on 06.18.2012
I wasn’t too happy about it but I thought I oughtta try. She’d been nagging me for months. I didn’t see what the big deal was, a little bit here a little bit there, but I said I’d do it for her. At least I’d try. So I did. And that’s what happened. I told you I wasn’t too happy about the idea. It wasn’t my idea of a thing to do but if there’s gonna be someone to make her happy, it’s gonna be me.
By Meg on 06.18.2012
Keen. Keen means to be very eager. I’m not too keen on many things that other people my age are keen of. Being keen on certain things can make you weird, or it can make you fit in. I’m considered weird for the things I’m keen of.

the man was keen and cunning, as he silently crept through the darkness of the home, and as he filled his bag with valuables, he wondered what the inhabitants would do following the tragedy he was now bringing upon them, and in moments, his bag hit the floor, he was gone.

Keen? Reminds me of a game I once played.
A keen gaze, bright green under dark eyelashes. It seemed to stare out at the world coolly, calculatingly, and take everything in stride. Analyze it. Spit it back out into the brain as carefully processed information. Nothing could fool this cold, keen stare.

Keens are a type of shoes that I sell where I work; Olly’s. They’re a sneaker/sandal hybrid that most moms get their children for summer camp. They range in colors, sizes, and styles. A lot of outdoorsy adults like to wear them, too. They’re great for hiking, biking, walking, running, playing, fishing, swimming… YOU NAME IT.

She asked me if I was keen on seeing her again. First off, who talks like that? We’re not in England. This is America, and I’m close minded. Secondly, What a stupid question! Why would I be “keen” on seeing her again? She has such a yuppie voice. How can anyone but a mute parrot stand it?

His sight was as keen as an eagle’s. He new he could see as far as he needed to, though his current target was only 100 ft. away. He took aim, and the rifle in his hands cracked. Down went the pidgin.

I once found a nifty little button that looked and felt rather nice around my shirt collar. It was only then that I realized I was being attacked by a fish burger. Not an ordinary burger, mind you, but one that could only be defeated by the over-scrunge.

How keen can a hawk be. I would certainly love to have one as a pet. They would be so cool and it just knows who you are. you have a connection with this animal. so majestic If only i had one, maybe i could go hunting or something in the mountains. that would be quite interesting. all in a days worth of time.

To be keen about something is to really have some intent in your actions. I’m keen on learningi new things, others are keen upon doing others. It’s all a matter of choice really, but what you’re keen on accomplishing in a day, week, hour, or lifetime can really define you as a person.

Keen. Eager. Our tendency to want and to desire. Passion. What we take interest in, to dive head first pursuing that which we crave.

I loved how keen she was about this assignment. We were partners, and the project was to write an essay about yourself and how you’ve become the person you are today. Of course, I was excited to have an ecstatic partner… but why wasn’t I excited? This had to be the easiest project for the entire year. Was it because this might actually be difficult for me? Have I not found myself yet? Who am I, and how do I put my life on paper?

my cat is going nuts on my hands right now and im pretty keen to kick her in the jaw. My knees are kind of hurting. I went to the gym earlier and fed my roommate some good ribs and potatoes. I think he has trouble eating and with depression. I’m keen to stop this.

There is a time of day when we have urges. Urges to remark, think, feel and touch. What we fail to realize is that we need to be passionate about these things for them to matter. We must care and be keen.

I seriously don’t know what keen means, so I’m basically trying to kill time here. I’m too lazy to search up the word. I think I heard of it before, but never actually used it in my life. Well guess what? another 1 min wasted:)

Keen minded. That’s what they all said. Sharp witted and quick to react. How my reflexes and intsticts failed me when I needed them most. Keen was the word to describe heroes. I didn’t fit the descriptions at all. An unfortunate bystander in the large scale of the universe, and the old medicine lady had the nerve to call me keen minded. I wish the adventure had never come to me. I wish I had never…well, I do not regret meeting her. The old medicine woman or the heroine. But I never wished to be the keen minded, courageous and dashing hero.

I had a keen eye for mistakes. Mostly in clothing, but my skills were not so limited. I had a keen eye for spotting missing onions from my food at Outback. I was even fiercer when it came to finding parking spaces.
