    One of the most important things a person can have. Freedom. It’s something most of us in the free world take for granted. It’s because we haven’t had to fight for it ourselves. And it is necessary. To fight for it. Because there are always people that will try to take it away from us. Our many different freedoms.

  7. Liberty and freedom go hand in hand. You can’t have liberty without freedom and you can’t have freedom without liberty. The desire for liberty causes war, but it also makes people happy. How can you have it both ways? Liberty is the desire of all individuals, it is their human nature.

Ive only seen it about 3 times now and yet the same things come to mind every time so here it goes. i mean its like what they say, third times the charm: Liberty is freedom and liberty is what makes america so special. We can do whatever we want besides yell fire in a movie theater… that would be illegal oops times out byeeeee.

  11. I already had this word once so I’m going to right about the first part of the word “lib”. Lib reminds me of a library, which is one of my favorite places to be. I love the feeling of being incased by books upon books, imagining that in between the covers of each of them, there is a fantastic story waiting to be read. Imagine all that action happening around me, in the vast silence that is the top floor of the library.

  21. Lady Liberty towered above us. Her crescent shaped headband, and worn look reminded us of how tired we were. Tired of running, tired of constantly having to look over our shoulders. But now we were back. Back in the city where it all started; New York. Her light teal colour, the same as the Caribbean Ocean we had just seen, so beautiful, so majestic. We looked up in wonder. I grabbed his hand.

  22. The government seems to slowly be moving away from American liberties as they were first establish by our fore-fathers. This is a ridiculous notion as we fought a war to stop the kind of behavior put forth by today’s government.

  26. There is no freedom for us here. We are lied to, cheated on and stolen from; all from the same people who claim to be doing what is right for us in the very same breath.

    Do they think they themselves are saved from the very act they attempt to impose on others? When will they realize that the same restrictions they try to place on us affect them as well?

    How is it that they sleep at night? Is it on a bed of worthless green paper and false claims?

    How long until liberty is nothing more than a long forgotten dream, held onto only by those already gone?

Libert.liberty to be happy I thank the lord for that everyday for everything and without liberty I would not have that.it’s a truly beautiful thIng and I am so blessed.i have the liberty to stay up til ten at night and talk with friends and family round a campfire.although this time now is ruff we rejoice in my papas passing;forever the best grandpa husband and father. We rejoice for he his in heaven and with his passed daughter. Liberty to burry him as he wishes is truly a beautiful blessing.

  28. Liberty is something worth fighting for – isnt’ that what this country was built upon? Isn’t that our ideal?
    Today’s society manages to break my heart all the time with all the atrocities that happen even within the boundaries of these 50 states. I hate being disillusioned, but this liberty…. How long will it last us, really? How long will we be able to hold on?

  29. one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all, flashbacks to elementary school when the allegiance was spoken with absolutely no grasp of what it was actually saying. even now though, years past, i still can’t quite explain.. what is liberty, freedom? do we truly have it?

  31. Liberty is something that is taken for granted. Often times, people live their lives in complete ignorance, completely unaware of the blood shed for their freedom and the suffering man went through to give them this right.

  32. She pushes through the barbs and brambles that surround the carnage. She can see a gleam of light, knows she’s almost to a clearing. A big one. All of a sudden she bursts out of it, and it’s…the ocean. And there, so close she’s almost on top of it, is the Statue of Liberty, still standing proud, but now covered in a veil of moss and vines. It’s…a surprisingly profound moment, and she suddenly wonders if THIS is what true liberty is, here, in the end of times.

    its about how european colonies took over sections of africa without regard for their own culture and conflicts. nationalism grew. people fought wars.

  36. sweet liberty sings the little bird as he peeks on the crusty old woman’s face lying in the ashes left from this war. So many lives taken with only the strongest left to mourn the death of everyone they know. I sit here searching out of my window, wondering.. will he come home?

  38. Liberty, something that this country has lost sight of. It’s a joke. There is no such thing as free speech these days. Unless of course you’re paying attention to all of the rules the government has put into place. The people should not fear the government, the government should fear the people.

There was no liberty anymore, everything was controlled by the government. From the food they ate, to the jobs they had. When you were born your parents got a file. Telling them what your life would be like, your name, how to parent you. Where to send you to school, what you were going to do as an adult. At the age of 18, you were told who you were to marry and how many kids to have.
