  1. Lightning struck through the heavy sky and clouds. Turning their dark blue and gray silhouettes suddenly blushing pink. Revealing their undersides and slicing through the sky. Joining the heavens to the earth in one hot, bright, sudden rush. And the boom of the air recoiling soon after.

  4. I was walking on the street I witness lightning striking the tree across the street. I ran to the nearest 7-eleven screaming for help to the clerk. I described what I saw after taking a few breathers. Then I realized, why am I here telling him about this, it’s time for dinner.

  6. Frightened like child when the loud sound hurt my ears and the bright lift lit up the sky as if the world was on fire. Memories of running footsteps and squeals as two little girls long gone off on their on flew threw through my mind almost as fast as the set streak of fire through the air.

  7. Being struck doesn’t matter anymore. But electric is my least favorite elemental type for a pokemon. Maybe you’re not worth changing for.

  13. It was 12pm when the lightening struck. It happened in the blink of an eye. In that moment my entire life changed. Who would of thought the light would expose those dark places i never knew existed. Every day after that was unpredictable.

  31. The lightning light up the room as she huddled in the corner shivering. If someone had seen her they would have thought she was afraid of the storm, this wasn’t quite true. She had long since learned to deal with storms themselves. It was the creature that came with them that terrified her.

  38. It struck the ground and burned for miles tearing shapes out of the world like black ink on a piece of paper. The traffic thinned on the heavily crowded roads, partly because everyone was sick and tired of the traffic in the first place and also twenty vehicles had been struck. Everywhere fires sprang up as if in salute to the mighty storm’s terrible majesty. It shook with the sound of drums beating and windows breaking before the storm ultimately ate the world up and then, blackness, then a spark.

  40. I want to feel the lightning coursing through my veins, searing my body from the inside out. I want to take a chance and see what it feels like for once. The thunder storm raged outside and all I wanted to do was jump. Switching careers wasn’t so scary.
