lightning struck as i danced in the rain. letting the sounds of the earth, of the night move my body, my soul. I felt more alive then I had in years. Again the lightning struck, i turned my face to the sky and started to cry.

Lightning pushed aside the molecules of her mind, deafening it with the thunder of their collide a breath later, leaving echoes of ideas in its wake. It was the dawning of a new series, new characters and arcs.

i read once about a guy who was on a pay phone and it got struck by lightning. he was thrown backwards, went into cardiac arrest, and had an out of body experience. he was brought back by paramedics, and afterwards developed an obsession with classical piano. he started playing, played all the time, quit his job as a orthodontist, got divorced, all just to feed this insatiable urge to compose.

shakes my bones and makes my skin tingle. like mother nature’s fireworks, lighting up the deep night sky, as if she was taking my picture from the heavens above. a celebration of flashes and nature and magic.

It forces electricity through the air in the wind-blown night. It’s eccentric. It’s daring. It knows all and it tells all. It’s raw, and it doesn’t care if you’re ready for it or expecting it. It’s going to strike and it’s going to strike wherever it pleases.
And that’s horribly frightening.

There was a whole new world out there, but the boy didn’t want to see it. It was unfamiliar and it was cold and scary. He wouldn’t last. So there, he sat on his bed in his new room in this foreign country, eyes closed while he listened to the lightning and thunder strike one after the other. The sound seem to be the only thing that was familiar to him…

I love the way the lightening hits the ground with a force. It disrupts everything. Like a flash from god saying “surprise”. It can happen anywhere. There are no limits. Makes me think about how scary that power can be. Life changing right?
By Lyle King on 07.25.2011
It’s not just the dark sky that the lightning brightened. Something about the chaos out there makes me forget about the problems inside. If I can see that nature is going through hell, I’ll feel a lot less alone.

scary. saw lightening today that was accompanied by the loudest crack of thunder i have ever heard. something had to have been struck. i was expecting to see someone’s car on fire in the parking lot when i left the gym. i was also excpecting the power to be out at my apartment.

Lightning struck. The earth suddenly became as bright as day, giving the girl time to see the breathtaking view below her. The rain was beating down on her and her clothes were no protection from the howling wind, but here was nature laid out before her. A sight few had ever seen, and that one flash of lightning had been a sight she would never forget.

I was once asked if I believed the sunrise was more beautiful than the sunset. To my knowledge, each scene represents an expressly different mindset. The sunrise is, if you are lucky enough to catch it, a beginning, a daily rebirth where you may find yourself ready to take all comers, a dawn of not only the day, but of your renewed spirit for life. The sunset, on the other hand, is associated with a completion, the end of a hard days work, the last day of your vacation, that much anticipated moment when you will be able to lay your head down and rest, a calm and soothing setting of the light and your soul. I cannot tell you which hold more beauty because with each day comes a new set of emotions and events. To see the sun mix into the clouds on the horizon of the pacific ocean and watch as the clouds come out from their hiding spots and take their nightly throne is just as touching to me as seeing them lit aflame with the St. Elmo’s fire of the early morning, pink only as flamingos on a lawn in the southwest know to be. What I can tell you is that the one natural moment of inclement weather that I prefer above all else is the Lightning. It has as much power to us as the sun itself, reminding those on Earth of the vengeful gods above, the rock gods with their quadrillion pedaled bass drums and ballads of light dancing and flaming and exalting no one. They raze in a split second what takes years to create, and it is not sad. It is truly beautiful.

Lightning reminds me of lots of happy things.
First of all, I love thunderstorms.
Lightning reminds me of the boy who lived; my childhood love, Harry.
It reminds me of that song “Angel from Montgomery,” that will always be the first song I start to play when I pick up a guitar.
Lightning reminds me of how powerful my God is.
Lightning also scares me sometimes because it can kill you if it strikes you; but you’re lucky if it doesn’t because it leaves a really cool scar.

lighting up the sky terrifying exhilarating glorious white purity flashing through the night making the world majestic and mysterious and dangerous and wonderful. man fears and loves it and is inspired by it.

Lightning strikes in the middle of the night. That’s the most beautiful time it could show up. The strong bolts rippling through the sky, putting a crack in a jet black canvas. Few things emit wonder or make you really appreciate the beauty of the world. When accompanied by thunder it’s as if they are shocking you into looking up and knowing there’s a God.

strikes suddenly. in life and in death and in insight. nothing to do to prepare. just hunker down and wait and open up. stay in the open emotionally and spiritually. letting everything just come and go and, if you’re lucky, it will strike without warning and wreck your life to make room for a new one.

When there’s lightning – it always brings me down
Cause it’s free and I see that it’s me
Who’s lost and never found
Feel the magic -feel it dancing in the air
But it’s fear – and you’ll hear
It calling you beware

lightning lights up the sky and it looks pretty, yet intense in photos..
it is also essential in bollywood drama scenes.
lightning scares me, i’m always afraid it’ll hit me. i avoid trees in the rain even though i’d prefer being dry.
oh and it’s always couple with thunder. so dramatic.

How beautiful lightning is. The way it goes from cloud to ground. The way you can see the reflection of it in the rain on the porch. The beauty. The danger. The amount of damage it can cause. And the amount of lives that can be taken. It’s nothing but extraordinary. It’s peaceful yet violent.

It was that night that things all changed. For me it wasn’t just the lightning, it was the ferocity of the deep black night. Of course, the terrific electric pulses that brightened up the sky added to the effect, but it was the silence before and after that really played with my emotions.

Lightening struck. It was 60 degrees outside and kansas was two miles away. The dog was still chewing my leg and I couldnt hear my ipod over this blasted yapping. No one cared. not me, not the dog, not the lightening. I was in the eye of the storm, but what was it’s color? Not blue.

when the fire struck down from the sky it blew it up. Light came all around when that lightning strike hit the ground. All around us we ran, flew and threw it to the sand. When that lightning rod hit the ground, I stopped to feel around. For it touched my heard, touched my soul, I feel this lightning piece as a whole.

the light fills the sky and intimidates those bellow. the creaturs on earth run from its devine splendor yet the beautiful fashes of light in the searing darkness should be sought after. life is about not the darkness and running from the lights danger, but relizing the danger in risking happiness and running toward the it even more vigourusly.

When they met again, they hugged each other and talked about the past. These were two school girls who had not seen each other for such a long time. Their lives were changed, but their memories of each other remain pure and unharmed. It was as if the lightning that struck their worlds never truly ceased. Even after all these years, there was still light.

I saw a huge lightning storm today. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve heard thunder that loud for as long as I can remember. Actually, no, the last time I saw something like that was on my camping trip in West Virginia. Me and seven other guys stood outside and watched in awe and lightning exploded all around us, only thinking a little bit about our safety.

i already wrote about lightning! It kills people, it’s harry potter’s scar…you need inner peace to lightning bend which was hard for zuko because he had so much inner turmoil but he eventually mastered it. You shouldn’t carry a pole when there is lightning or you might die.

Lightning is the most mysterious matter one has ever seen especially when people remember that scar on a favorite character of a favorite book. A lightning tells us different things. Swift. Strong. Scary. It does a lot of things to us. It can destroy and create.
