  1. Mango’s remind me of everything good. They remind me of my favorite Jack Johnson song “Better Together” and all the memories that go along with it-all the irony related to everything I’ve done while listening to that song, and all the comfort it brings me when I hear it. Mangos remind me of my best friends

  8. I ate some dried mangoes a few days ago. For about two days or so. Maybe three. Probably two because I friggin’ love dried mangoes. And I kept thinking to myself, how many mangoes are these, really? Am I eating more than I probably should? Am I doing more damage than I would if I had seen the mangoes un-dried?

  20. I threw fruit at his head since he wasn’t paying attention. It was a great idea until he threw one back at me.

    I dodge the counterattack.

And as he readied himself to throw another, I smiled. We’ll have this comedy sketch written by the end of the night or so help me I will pelt him with all the mangoes in this bowl. There’s really nothing like a good food fight to get the creative juices flowing.

  24. I don’t think I have ever eaten a mango. Wait. This is a fruit right? I can’t think. I am getting sick. I know it. Anyway. I imagine it would be orange and round, like an orange. I can’t figure out what it would taste like though. I really want one now, or would that make me even more sick? I don’t know. I should buy one soon.

  25. I’ve never had a mango before. It kind of represents the things in life that I’ve never experienced. Whether I wanted to or never had the chance, a long list of things out in the world waiting. I might have a mango tomorrow.

  27. The mango was hanging lightly in the air almost untouched by the passing breeze, scathed only by a whimper of wind to make it jiggle so slightly; it’s yellowish tint a bright reflection of the mid-day sun. Oh, how i wanted that mango. How i wanted its juices and to conquer it whole.

  28. Sweet fruit I’ve tasted, somewhat. Blended in amongst strawberries and bananas. I’m a city girl lost amongst new exotic flavors in my seven dollar smoothie. Unable to comprehend the process of this strange fruit grown in a different setting than I.

  29. My Uncle Jerry likes the mango. I’m not sure why I remember this out of all things, but that’s the first that pops up in my mind. I bet it’s a tasty fruit and is probably sweet. I know that it has a orange-ish color and isn’t much smaller than an orange. It’s round and is probably somewhat soft. It smells sweet and I’m sure perfume does it not justice.

  30. juicy juicy mangos…that’s what I think of. Some kind of character with an accent from some kind of movie using “mangos” to reference breasts. I’ve never had a mango. I’d probably like it. I like melon-type fruits. I do not like kiwi and many types of berry.

  31. orange fruit tasty my uncle jerry exotic i like the spelling of it. relaxed. sweet. have never tried it. not sure what to think about it. yummy?

    by Carleigh on 02.22.2011
  32. A fruit I’ve never tasted. Nor have I seen in real life. Have maybe tasted it in a smoothie but how can I tell, when it’s blended in with other fruits it seems bland enough to blend in. Strange and exotic fruit, only seen and used in many movies and video games.

  33. The mango tastes sweet and juicy. Fresh off the tree. It reminded her of life and the way it was so complicated and so sweet. She wished she could be that mango. She wished she could be that sweet fruit. But, alas she could not. For she was a girl.

  35. There’s two kind of mangos, I really dont like it that much, well it depends, I dont like it when its too cold, I do like it when its summer. When I worked in a frozen yogurt store, cutting mangos was the most difficult part of my day. I never got cut but I wasn’t far from doing it. Anyways, I loved eating them for free

  36. Mangos are exceedingly delicious. They’re slightly spicy.

  37. Eddie Izzard’s “Dress to Kill” stand up when he is talking about the first time he ever had sex. He was so nervous the night of and fumbling all over. Then the next morning when they woke up he was carefree, making breakfast, singing, making freshly squeezed mango juice. The way he sings it makes me laugh every time.

  38. It’s really good it makes yummy smoothies I like it with bananas. But I have never had it just by itself which is weird because everyone has had it before. Its really good when lotions have a smell that’s mango and something else like strawberries. One of these days I’m going to buy one and eat it plain just how you buy it. Even though my mom says it doesn’t taste thatgood, but it’s pretty and that’s what counts. It’s because of the little nut of green with the yellow and orange.

    by Shelby riordan on 02.22.2011
  39. I have a friend who is so allergic to mangos she asks the waiters in Italian restaurants, any mango in the house. It seems unlikely but she must ask. People have asked dumber questions. People have not ask questions that need to be asked.

  40. Thorn looked at Thade with curiosity. “A what?” Her brother laughed and wiggled his hands into a shape then another. “It was a fruit, it was sometimes shaped like this, but you could find them like this, they were red on the outside, but orangey-yellow on the inside and the most delicious thing you’ve ever tasted!” Thorn lofted a brow. “You’re daft.”
