  1. I am not mean. I never mean to hurt any one. After all life is too short for being mean to be the mean thing that you do. I think that most of us really do mean to do well.

    by Perrie Juran on 07.10.2011

  7. There’s really no point to beng mean to anyone. Even if they’re mean to you, if you think about it. I mean, if you’re grumpy, take it out on something that doesn’t have feelings. Like a pillow

  8. The toddler says, “Na Na mean.” To him mean means not getting your way. Someone who is mean is someone who is not giving him what he wants. I’d rather be viewed as mean than have him hurt by something he wants or thinks he needs. I know that I am not unkind, cruel. And truly he knows that too. His pouting will pass. And although he is so little he knows that he can crawl in my lap and find comfort. I hope that through the years he learns that when I’m being “mean” I’m helping him the best way that I know how.

  9. Well, that’s not very nice. Nice people are not mean. Do you mean what you say? I mean it when I say that I love and care about you. Those words have meaning in my lift. The mean of the numbers 5, 7, and 9 is 7. What do you mean when you say that the mean of the numbers 5, 7, and 9 s 7? What is the meaning of life? Say what you mean, and mean what you say.

  10. What you seem to mean is that the mean of people will be mean – how very pessimistic.

  11. its insecurity.
Good girls are girls that can’t say anything because of their insecurities.
They let boys talk sexist about women and they let them stare at their parts.
They don’t say anything, nothing comes out of their mouths.
And if one thing does, its something rude about the other girls.
Their insecure, and that’s what makes them rude.
Like Sonya, Erin, Kelsey, and Meghan.
Together they just don’t say anything, and all the other girls in the grade want to be in their group. It’s stupid. And they want to because its “cool”…and because their too insecure to face the fact that they are different.
    Mean=insecurity

  12. You’re mean. Not good or bad. Just mean. Not wrong or right. Just mean. Do you know what I mean? No matter what you mean to be, you’re simply mean. Your meaning is lost in the meanness. On a mean, you’re meaner than anyone else I know.

  13. I know many people who are just mean. Whether they have a reason as to why they produce this quality or not, they are plain and bluntly mean. One in particular, produces this characteristic every single day. One day I hope, through my own character, I may teach this person to not be mean.

    by Madison on 07.10.2011
  14. I say it.. I mean it…
I’m not a nice person. Or at least I try not to be. I get trampled on so its just easier to be mean.

I don’t want to be. but sometimes its just easier….
than actually meaning what you mean.
because no one will necessarily understand what you Mean!

    by Ashley on 07.10.2011

  18. She was just so mean. There was no other word to describe it. The way she boosted herself up by wearing revealing clothes and slathering on make-up, putting down others to make herself feel better. All the adults thought she was a sweetheart. They don’t see how she acts around her classmates, or her friends. Mean, just mean.

  20. She moved nimbly up the tree, I following closely behind. The powerful, dark arms of the tree were laced with moss. Our rope dangled loosely from the base of the branch. It was eerily quiet, but in a peaceful way. From higher up, we could see we were in the shadow of the mountain, its snowy peak barely visible through the thick leaves. We sat and talked for a little while on that mossy branch. We made sure the ropes were tight, and we made our quick descent.
On average, around 100 people commit suicide in the Aokigahara Forest in Japan, yearly.

  21. Why are you so mean all the time? It’s not like you have any right. Your life is perfect. You look…perfect. Stop being so, so, so mean, then. You have money, looks, worldly treasures… Enough’s enough.

  22. he killed her, in the hotel room, the blood made patterns of butterflies strewn across the walls. The pain meant the end of their love, of their meaning. She walked out of the room and cried on the floor, drowning in the blood that caked her skin. The light cast a pale shimmer

Almost everyone likes him better than me. That really bit me in the ass, huh guys? The moral of this story is: If you’re gonna be mean. Be REALLY mean. Don’t half-ass it.

  25. what does it mean?
    to mean what I say?
when I speak my words true
    they are mean

    is it my fault?
that when you ask me to speak the truth
that it comes out that way
    I think not

She had no other friends besides an old teddy bear, whose stuffing had long been disemboweled by her. She ate and drank in a minimalist fashion.

  38. I know several mean people. What is it to be mean? What benefits can be had from being mean? In my opinion, none. It’s hurting others, and yourself. Any sane person will feel some sort of guilt or shame at the act of being mean, even if you’re the one doing it. Down the line, or as an immediate response. I feel sorry for them. Think before you act.

    by Meel on 07.10.2011
  39. i just don’t think people realize it when they’re being mean. but i mean sometimes there’s stuff like tough love, when you really do mean to be mean… but it’s necessary. the truth sucks, most of the time. the truth doesn’t mean to suck though… it’s the one thing that never actually tries to be horrible. it just… tells it like it is. know what i mean?

  40. I don’t like mean. It’s witches in gingerbread houses. Wolf catching small red-dressed girls.

It’s my dad after a long day – it’s him in me.
