Julie turned around from the curb and just laughed.

But yet, deep down I knew I deserved every bit of her anger. I mean, it was MY fault it happened anyways, and no matter what I do, we both knew I would never fully pay for my sins.

This life wasn’t meant for me at all. I pined for that magic and mystery that I found beyond reality. I melted away in the nostalgia, and the depression knocked me out cold. But I couldn’t stop. I kept living every boring, dull, and stressful day. And I would wait until nighttime when I could wish wholeheartedly that I lived a different life. Wishing never hurt so much as it did now.
