It was early morning and she stepped out into the meadow. The ground was covered in a misty blanket of protection. She smiled.

A moonlight shadow fading across the sky, creates a thin layer blanket across the night. It reminds you of eery ghost stories and the type of things Michael jackson sang about. It feels cool against the skin causing goose pimples.

I like misty drinks, and mist. Its cooling abilities astound me. Sometimes I wish I could spread round the world like mist and hug everyone.

Water is cool because it turns into mist. I like misty drinks because they look mysterious to me.

I woke up this morning, sweating. I didn’t realize it was a dream until I woke up. It was absolutely vivid, I was walking down a rough path, mist all around me, and I felt that I was being followed.

We found ourselves on a misty beach, the salty air stinging our eyes. Mitch found what he thought was the best location and we set aside our treasure to begin digging.

the sky was misty when we left. stuffed up with fog, clouds congesting the sky like a cold and every once in a while, someone would look up to check if it was raining yet.

The misty day was beginning to bug me. It was thick enough to be a blanket. Spread far enough to be an ocean. It’s a misty day, did I already say that? I’m cooped up inside because we’ve been advised to stay off the roads and indoors. It’s that bad. I need to go out though. I need my McDonalds – it’s one of them comfort food days too…

The cloudy gray that you see before the dawn of light. That signal that lets you know that brightness is coming. Temporary clouds before the sun to illuminate all that is creative in you.

The misty sky obscured the top of the mountain. The cliff looked endless from where he stood. “I have to climb this?” He said. Nobody else was around. He started toward the trail.

How ironic I think as she steps forward to spell her given word. “M-I-S-T-Y. Misty.” The five year old spelling bee hopeful announces to the judges. Rubbing her hands against each other anxiously awaiting the verdict. “That would be correct.” The young girl nods respectively to the judges and returns to her seat smiling from ear to ear awaiting the next round. I return the smile with a thumbs up sign, as proud as punch of my daughter Misty.

The fog settled. Everything was a blur. The dawn wasn’t coming, she knew that now. She can wait for eternity, but no one’s coming. She wiped her misty eyes and stood up, for the first time in a while and walked into the heart of the fog.

The misty fog covered her face as she ran through the marsh. Only one thought pulsed through her brain as her feet pounded against the damp earth. I have to make it in time. Time ticked away in her body to the sound of her beating heart as she flew through the dancing air.

Misty, I amn’t supposed to think about it…but I can’t stop myself. So instead I feel this word. Misty. To me misty takes me home. Home to the damp, cold, comforting blanket of air that

the sky was very dull on that school day. Part of it due to the fact that being the nerd that I am I decided to wake up way to early. There was not a soul in site on my way to my bus stop. I was only 14. And everything seemed like out of a horror movie.

The early morning sun was just coming up over the horizon. Shelly walked out onto her balcony to see if she could spot any dolphins in the firey ocean. The mist from the night collected over her tables and chairs and she couldn’t help but draw funny little pictures.

The misty morning of the new day was more than I could bare. Had been this way for what seemed everlasting. But really, deep down inside I knew that there was only one thing everlasting, Jesus, the one that could save one from the mist of troubles.

The atmosphere was misty. There was something wrong going on.
“Is it just me or is there something wrong with the air…?” David asked.

It felt nice, wreathed by mist in the dewy dawn. When he encountered another camper in his morning stroll, there would be that period of time where each person saw the other come into view slowly. Mist gave more time for each to anticipate and imagine the other.

When I first saw the little horse, she couldn’t have been more stuck in the mud. Her mane blew winded while her voice whinnied for help. I knew by the grey color of her skin that she was called misty. But I didn’t know how to pull her out and get her going again. My own horse Frank stomped down towards the mud and eyed the little filly. I eventually got Frank to step down and we hoisted the horse out and over the mud bank.
