“Oh, it is. Come over my place as fast as you can. I want to show you something.”

There was a click, and then dial tone.

I sat my project to the side, got my coat on, shoes, picked up the car keys, then sprinted down stairs, careful not to fall down.

Upon reaching the car, a little boy walked up. In his hand was a tin can.

“Hi,” he said with a wide grin, “Do you have any change? My mother and me had to leave the house.”

My shoulders slumped forward; I was guilt ridden.

All I have to do is look at the board, and I can relive my happiest times and my happiest memories.

  29. I was sitting there, sipping my champagne. I was in my flawless red gown, slit up the side to mthe middle of my thigh, with my sheek black vera wang heels. I was looking upon this montage in front of me in my complete astoundment. It was a beautiful work of art, and no doubt that i had to have it. I approached the artist, and tapped him on the back. he turned, and stood looking upon me as if he was surprised i had approached him. Then i saw it- the glistening hazel eyes, the gorgeous abundance of black slick hair- this was my fiance from four years ago- the one who had left me to pursue his dreams in Paris.

  33. I think of photo montages. The kind where you’re with your friends at a party and you decide that a photo shoot should happen. The pictures sometimes don’t make sense and sometimes they’re far too serious for the situation but every time they end up on facebook and you have too many pictures to remember a night. There’s always one that would work.
