  1. I thought the hit show entourage. That’s about it. Also all of your life flashing quickly before your eyes like you’re about to be hit by an oncoming train. Ooo sucks for you man.

  2. There was a montage on the wall of the apartment we entered. I wrapped it in plastic and kept it for evidence. The photos on the montage were a collection of the murderers victims. What really disturbed me was that there was on photo of one who was not yet dead. It was me! Now it became even more important to catch this wacko killer.

It would be a challenge, a hunters dream, to catch the killer before he or she caught me.

  3. People places things, all gathered unwillingly together to make an imperfect picture in a perfect way. Too much is never enough, glued by necessity and driven together by providence.

    by Devin Hutchinson on 05.31.2011
  4. Even rocky had a montage. Believe it or not, the word montage brings to my mind something like half American and half french. MON-tage. mon-TAGE. Which one is balsier, I wonder? And which one has brass to transcend galaxies?

    by Brandon Culp on 05.31.2011
  5. montages are what they play in the movies, when a pivotal moment ensues as a way of perhaps wrapping up a plot point or seguing into a new plot twist. But in real life, Montages are the glimpses you get of your life with her when you need a moment to yourself and she is everything that makes life worthwhile.

  6. The curious name, Montage was attached to the newborn. Big, clumsy, awkward Montage to the little, delicate baby girl. What did it mean? What were the implications for such a name? Were her parents out of their minds? Or was there something bigger at work here?

    by Renee on 05.31.2011
  7. there are montages in movie. actually, it is my personal favorite part. i like the singing and the motivation and happiness. once i made a snow montage with my friends in their backyard. montages show change over time, like in Mulan, when he “makes a man” out of the protagonist.

    by Jessie on 05.31.2011
  8. A montage of pictures appear on the screen. blurred i wait for them to come into focus. As they become clear i’m shocked at what i’m seeing. screams erupt in my head as i quickly run from the room.

  9. A group of fabulously fun things that all come together to make something quite special. Pictures, photos, colors, creativity, plants, artifacts, buttons, pins, nails, stamps…you name it, it belongs on a montage.

    by Kristi on 05.31.2011
  10. It’s too confusing and too time consuming to pick out pieces that don’t belong together but that fit together. Forget it. Shake up the box and just let chaos sort it out.

  11. a string of ideas: can be in the form of photos, words, designs, limitless. Can be a display of a time and place, event, person, location. Really the relational keys are limitless, simply up to the mind of the the writer/creator

    by MMC on 05.31.2011
  12. Well, not quite sure what it means, I have heard of it, drama

    by Amanda on 05.31.2011
  13. Every day, a new series of memories is made. Blips and clips of families and friends, all wrapped up into some tiny little brain cells that you can keep around for as long as you want. I can’t imagine going without such a power.

  14. With great honor, the Montage family came in while the crowd praised and bowed to them. I could not believe these people. They must have been crazy.

    by Rachel on 05.31.2011
  15. A fleeting moment of memories, flashing by fast as light, flipping through your years like the pages of a child’s book.

Your life, summed up in a simple montage: the power of the brain.

  16. a montage
    words
    their meanings
    put them together
    they mean something else
    scramble them
    a new meaning
    separate them
    they mean little
    combine them
    they mean more

    by Melanie on 05.31.2011
  17. the images sped across my mind in dizzying whirlpool barely registering in my consciousness. they were my memories but long gone and unfamiliar

    by Rocky on 05.31.2011
  18. A montage of memories. His breath on the back of my neck as he asked me a question and praised me for my efforts. The look he gave me when he realized he had a chance with me (his eyes brightened tremendously). Our talks. Our texts. Our facebook chats. Coming home to work on my poetry anthology and suddenly being told how wonderful I am by the sweetest boy on the planet. Then it stopped.

  19. Another combat montage, another round of cheesy eighties music, big hair and pumping iron and – Vic sat up straighter. No way! He’d know that mullet anywhere. Sensei Stevens? Since when?

Vic peered at the screen, but he recognized the form as solidly as he recognized his own, had seen it three nights a week for the past ten years.

    Huhn.

That explained why Sensei’s wife was so hot. He was secretly a movie star.

  20. Together the pictures from the stories, that rolled forth like a snowball down a hill, painted a montage of colors and light in everyone’s mind, vibrant like the laughter that exuded from all who heard and shared.

    by Steve d on 05.31.2011
  21. fast, fast, fast, memories, laughs, moments, the stuff between the lines.

  22. A montage of records came flying out the window like frisbees. I ducked just as one skimmed past my head. Another hit me square in the knee. “WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!??” I shouted as I made my way towards the main door of the apartment complex. There was a brief buzz and I snatched the handle of the door in time to open it. Thank God for her sense of humor and my excellent timing. I was in.

    by Sera on 05.31.2011
  23. i dont know what montage means
but whats there to a word
    not only a meaning
    but theres more
theres what u can write of it
what u can think of it
    what u make of it.
    so take a word.
    this word.
    montage
    and write.
    write what ever
    fuck writers block
    you can write about anything
    its your piece.

    by Patricia D on 05.31.2011
  24. There was once a lady who had quite a face
of beauty and elegance it had not a trace
small eyes long nose and lips quite large
the sum of the parts, like a photo montage
but she was still proud, stood tall with grace.

  25. so i was watching this total vampire freak girl watch a vidoe montage of all these cheesy scenes from of course–twilight. i had nothing to do during my boring english class so i accidently unplugged her computer, her face was priceless.and i was much happier not seeing stupid twilight.

    by meghan on 05.31.2011
  26. it was like a montage of dreams had run right before me, the film reel slowly running out — running, running, running out.

I could see the headlights in the darkness, up ahead, haunting me. I could see them chasing me down, running me over — this isn’t the time to be afraid to die, but I’m terrified.

I’m scared that these dreams will come true, the sickening crunch I hear my body making will one day ring true and all I’ve got is a plan of nothing for the future.

  27. together, pasted, glue, art, calm, beautiful, music, constructed, combined, collage, artists, magazine, disk, photo, drawing, peace.

    by G on 05.31.2011
  28. Wow. Don’t see this word that often. It’s something used for art – that much I remember. =P Montage: i can derive a few words from it: age, gate, moan, tone, game. It can say so many other things besides its use in art.

    by wen on 05.31.2011
  29. many images flickering through my mind, of basketball on the television and my cat in my lap, a slice of cool pizza in my hand, left over from two hours earlier, the surviving slices at my disposal there in the greasy box sitting half open on top of the stove.

  30. began to imagine my life..
as I did I saw in slow motion the joys and pains I had felt
the montage of my life has tears and laughter
but in an instant made my heart start to melt
for untill I had struck my own memory in a flash
my past and life stay a distaint memory
how could something so important be gone in a dash
to forget ones life means sorrow and ache
had I forgotten the reason that now made my heart ache
for along with memories come the secrets in our hearts
so be careful what lifetime montage you choose to start

    by Domonique on 05.31.2011
  31. When I see a montage i think.how did it get there?who made it? a montage represents so much beauty that this world has to offer. it can express the artists feelings through pictures instead of words. montages are absolutely enchanting to look at and say alot about a person. they are greattt :) the time taken is amazing.

    by jess on 05.31.2011
  32. Montage. God, like a compilation?
I have no connotations towards this word whatsoever.
The first thing that pops into my mind is death. You know, when you die you’re supposed to see your life flash before your eyes? Like a montage?
I hope my montage will be good. Really good.
I’d like to go out with a laugh, at the very least.

  33. Montage of my life
    pictures of everything and everyone
    that I’ve ever know
    flashing before my eyes
    like a happy movie
with bubbly music playing in the background
I share the smiles and laughter
and wait for it to stop
    but it never does
    because unlike a montage
    my life is a story
    that never ends.

    by Krissy on 05.31.2011
  34. there are lots of photo montages made with stupid music in the background but for some reason people still cry about them and then i feel like an ass cuz i honestly think theyre so dumb. i mean really. stupid pictures and stupid music…

    why would i like that?
especially cuz theyre always inside jokes or something.

and im always left out :(

    by gia on 05.31.2011
  35. Montages are cheesy. Those are truly the only words I have on them.

  36. montage. what does that even mean? like, whaatt? i can’t write about something that i don’t know about. well, this makes no sense. i am hopeless. i pity the person that has to read this. ah, oh well. the sixty seconds is almost over. now i’m just wasting time.

    by franny. on 05.31.2011
  37. i dont know what this word means. which leads me to think i dont know alot of words. that doesnt mean im stupid just uninformed. like a lot of society. we are more concerned with celebrities and money than the important things. and i shouldnt generalize but still. i wonder how many people know what montage truely means. i wonder how many people take a step back each day and just think. not necessarily about something in particular. but about nothing or about everything.

now i feel dumb for not knowing this word because i probably should.

    by taylor on 05.31.2011
  38. It was like one of those things they do in movies all the time. Where there are all these different moments from the person’s life all pulled together to show some overall theme. I could see moments from my own life flicking before my eyes. The only thing different though was the fact that there seemed to be no overall theme to the moments flashing before my eyes as I flicked my lighter open and lit the end of my next cigarette.

  39. As we stood face to face, I could see the reflection of us slowly fading. I heard the sound of my heart breaking in your voice. I no longer felt the warmth in your touch. And the spark in our kiss had become lusterless.
I stood motionless with my eyes closed. A montage of fond memories filtering through my mind. One thought interrupting, “Was this really what was to become of us”.

  40. Sometimes when you close your eyes, a montage of the images filed away in your brain flashes behind your closed lids: slumber party giggles, a broken smile, your brother playing the piano at seven years old, the color red, a father throwing his toddler son in the air, chess pieces strewn across the floor, offering your lonely mother an applesauce popsicle. Meaningless, poignant, almost forgotten, painful reminders– all jammed together in the moment before you dream.
