  1. morals are about doing what is right. doing what its right is not always what is different from whats wrong. wrong decisions can be good. right decisions can be wrong. the true question of morality is wether we percieve these right and wrong decisions to be things we would do and live with. if you are to shoot a man to put him out of suffering is anything really wrong?

  2. His morals had always been his strong suit. Everyone said so. That’s why he hated the way they had been compromised tonight. To save a friend, a close friend, he had to do something he would undoubtedly never recover from. He hadn’t had to murder, not tonight, but if he didn’t put an end to this silly contract, he had no doubt it would come to that. No, tonight he simply had to lie to the American people. And what’s bad, is that he was so, so good at it.

  4. morals are important to have because without them the world would be a terrible, violent, untrustworthy, sad place to live and all people would live miserable existences. I’m thankful for morals because without them my life wouldn’t be half of what it is today.

  10. No one ever gave me morels. Except once, I cooked them in butter and they were delicious. Also no god ever gave me morals. The thing about the mushrooms was not necessary in the slightest, but tasty goodness ensued. MORALS.

  11. I dislike the idea of morals. I don’t care whether you have “good” ones or “bad” ones. It’s all complete and utter bull shit. No one has better morals than anyone else, but everyone thinks theirs are the best.

  12. Morals are too good for me
    No time for it
    Just do what I want
    To feel free

    by BRADLEY A on 06.26.2011
  13. Morals are things I’d like to think I lack. But whenever I see something that strikes me wrong it seems as though the first thing that pops into my head is “That goes against my morals.” But at the same time I see morals as something which restrict freedom. But I guess the point is to strike a balance between what you dislike and what’s real. I feel like I’m trying to sound existential and swear I have talent, but saying my real thought goes against my morals. Haha.

  14. What do morals mean? Who are we to judge the morality of others? Could we be bold enough to believe that we have the power to tell others that they are immoral, or their lives are immoral?

  17. morals are what tells us the things that are good and bad. it helped define what is just and right versus what is wrong, and immoral so to speak. morals can concern anything that we do in the course of our lives. an example of a moral is something like ‘dont throw bricks in a glass house’. it embodies a sort of symbolism, sort of like a fable, where the animals represent something much larger

  18. Morals seems like a harsh word somehow, as if they are to be enforced on us, when deep down we know ourselves and what’s right for the time. If it comes from love, if we evolve, we can know the truth deep down and can discover and recover ourselves. The truth is mysterious and changing and never black and white. Who is anyone else to tell me who and how to be? If I listen and quieten my mind I have a moral compass in my heart singing clearly my direction.

  19. values. exchange rate. the value of a dollar. 10,000 zimbawean dollars is 26 usd. i thought i grew up with no morals. i was wrong. just untraditional view of morality. my mom was down with hating the mom. down with non-judgment. down with the value of happiness. happiness in yuour spirit. find balance

  21. It seemed as if he was looking right through me. He cold blue eyes scanned me as if I was morally wrong but who is he to judge me? We all have a different set of morals. Who is he to act as if I am in the wrong?

  24. i try hard to stick with my morals
the morals that you have passed down to me
but sometimes i find it hard to follow
    and i fall

    because you died for me
to clean me from these awful sins
to give me back my life

  26. “Having sex means you have low morals.” What? When did sexuality become linked to morality? When did something as natural and beautiful as sex become taboo? Did religion do it? Fear? Ignorance? Modern society? I see it and I wonder, what would this world be like without this culture of taboos?

  30. Morals. We all have them. But do we follow them? The best of us break our own at times. but there are tons of hypocrites that break them, and yell at people who break them, but couldn’t have a care in the world if they broke them. So that is my two cents about your word.

  31. The master molded his morals into his murals.

  32. i think that morals are weird. Some people’s definition of good morals is completely off the mark from others. It depends on how you grow up and what your parents were taught…Some may say that being gay is immoral, while to others its completely right.

    by James on 06.26.2011
  36. Morals are simply convention. People can define the word as the wish, but there is no standing definition. While the current thought in the world of morality may be equality and rights for all, morals years ago would have been rights for those deserving and hail to the Catholic church.

  37. i’ve never been taught morals. i had to learn them along the way. so i learnt that no matter what my state religion says, kissing a girl always feels right. i learnt that you can love more people at the same time. i learnt that my best friends are my best friends without even considering their sociocultural background. morals are for hypocrites, if taken in the classic sense of the term.

  38. Just another set of rules meant to be broken…. that’s all they are to me. I set them, yet rarely adhere to them. That’s just how life goes, I guess. Hmmmm…… oh well.
