morals. I have none. I shoplift. I smoke weed. all that matters are other people. nothing else. everything else is stupid. whatever. morals are for prudes. do unto others as you would have others do unto you. it’s as simple as that. fuck ‘em all otherwise. if you don’t respect me then I won’t respect you. otherwise I’ll love you.

Morals. What are they really? Morals can be whatever you want them to be. It is just like anything in life. It’s not black and white.
By Audrey on 06.26.2011
Some people have no morals, and some people have questionable morals. I think we all have to decide of the definition of morals for ourselves. I mean seriously, can we follow books written by skitzo dead men, and let them tell us how to live? I mean come one. God/Goddess/Create/Evolution game us all a brain for a reason, we’re not suppose to share just one.

How much do an individuals morals affect his/her relationships? Similar morals seem to help people get along.
By shelbelee on 06.26.2011
Moral – what to say about them. Every one thinks that they should enforce theirs on everyone else. Live and let live – just leave me alone about what you think I’m doing wrong. I don’t care. I love you but leave me be.
Seriously, morals are a personal choice, think personal like choosing underwear personal. You wouldn’t want to choose my underwear would you?

i think morals are there for a reason, they help us decides what is right and what is wrong. it lets us know, in our gut weather or not the thing we are doing or want to do is actually something we should or should not do. it keeps us on the right path.

I shouldnt have been listening to them more intently when they were being bothered. When they were being disturbed by the caress of another hand. Morals, forgive me.

Morals are the tedious things that make you hate what other people do when it usually has no bearing or consequences for your own life. Morals are always fluid and should evolve and mature with experience.
By Junk Mail Of The Simian URL on 06.27.2011
Morals are all relative. They are based upon what you have seen, what you have done, and the people you have met. To judge one on their morals is trivial and useless. Judge one on their actions, and their reasons, AT THE TIME, for having them.
By Sarah URL on 06.27.2011
rhymes with oral. but oral makes me think the opposite of morals. Morals are about knowing whats right and why. The funny thing is that morals are subjective. And yet people act like they’re absolute truths.
By Domi on 06.27.2011
Morals are the key element to any good story.
What would Harper Lee’s ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ be without the standards that a just person has? Nothing. It is impossible to feel empathy for Boo Radley and Tom Brown without them.

Respecting yourself, your values…not changing for anyone and not caring of what others think…living honorably. Thats all that came to mind !eeek.

Everyone has ‘morals’. I have mine. However, they have been held up high and they have fallen to low depths. Finally at the age of 21 I think I am learning where I stand with mine. What I believe and don’t believe. I feel that I have come to a happy middle ground that I can enjoy.

The values of one’s life. The basic composition of man’s conscious. The key determinant to right and wrong. A necessity to one’s existence.

i have morals.
i have many.
Who are you to judge me on what I am and who I will become?
Stop shouting and carry about your ways.
Because I’m not about to change,
not for you, not for them.
I am who I am.
Don’t you dare try and change me.
When you’re the one I thought you said “Save me.”

“Morals. Morals Morals,’ she said. “Everyone has ‘em.’” She sat on the dock, her toes dipped into the murky water below. The sun shined a bright red glow on the lake. The sun was going down. Night would come soon, and she would hear her mother’s voice pierce through the cold wind telling her to come back home.

they won’t get me to steal, lie about certain things, fail to protect the vulnerable, it’s not just morals, its the idea that for some reason all rules are stricter for me, that the punishments will come fast and hard, instant karma and all that, but then other rules are easily over-ridden, not for me, just for the people that need them

MOrals are what people use to direct themselves in life. They are the basis of how people act and react in many situations. They are very important and are influenced upon from the people they’re closest to. They are the sustenance in every good person and help in their journey through life. Morals are what is right or wrong in a person’s perspective. They are decided from every individual and bring the person into an understanding of their own being.

Everyone should have morals. However, my morals may not be the same as another person’s. Morals can be a tricky thing to interpret.

We all talk about morals. But who believes in morals? I believe that no one is completely a believer of morals. We live in a mortal world and therefore we can’t help being mortal beings. Battle.
By FaridaEzzat on 06.27.2011
everyone is born with an innate sense of what is right and wrong and this determines the morals you have. however, as a person grows up, your sense of what is right and wrong is changed and shaped by societal influences and the people around you; by what you learn and what other people tell you.
it is up to you to decide what is right and wrong/ good or bad and to live your life in a wholesome manner.

Morals are fluid things. One’s morals are often based on expectations on others rather than their own thoughts or actions. Even the most liberal’s morals are often absolute – “You can not enforce your morals on other people” the most egregious. Philosophy is a lost art replaced by media and secularism. People believe in morals they are given instead of ones they have grown from seeds.

“Their morals and their codes prevent them from acting on the good of the realm,” he said. “What good is the Light when there is no Darkness? Do you not close your eyes and sleep within the hallowed safety of night? Would you not be uncomfortable if the sun was out every waking hour?”

That’s just a choice isn’t it? a choice you ,make everyday without realizing it. When you cut some one off in traffic, when you let the elevator door close, when you ignore the person on the corner with the sign. Morals are what you do, who you are.
By Tierney on 06.27.2011
Morals are the stepping stones that we are guided by, having the ability to do know what is right from wrong and follower your instinct. By morals we walk the path of righteousness and forgiveness.

“Moral Relativism is an excuse. It’s something people come with because their concept of ‘right and wrong’ got screwed up somewhere.”
Really? To me, morals factor into the means. I don’t have a specific set of rules – “I only know what feels good and what feels bad after.” And even then, something you do that feels good winds up making you feel like shit. That’s pretty much all I can do or say about the matter personally. I’m always worried about the rules I write for myself…worried I may be trapped by them….
By catachan URL on 06.27.2011
They change. That’s the important thing about them, they always change. There’s no changing that, ever. If you try to hold onto old morals, you’re only screwing yourself. Just learn to let it go.
By Slag. on 06.27.2011

Morals are lost in thr present world, but in the past they were the basis of evrything. people are forgetting how important morals are. If we knew and remembered the importance of Morals this world would have been a better place. Morals make things easier as we know morally what is right and what is wrong, which would easily guide us to better things and make us do what is right and what we should get.

It was difficult to keep it all straight. As a knight he had to always respect his master, always obey the man he worked for. And yet, he still had to stand by his own morals. So if his master had him do something that went against him, like this, what was he to do?

Morals, internal codes and external values. Where do they come from? Religion, parents all the usual; ultimately though they must serve some deeper purpose, some way of keeping humans rubbing along without the need for coercion or the rule of law, some informal largely internal process.

His morals were gone, completely. He no longer cared about other people, or about himself. What was the point? No one cared about him, of this he was certain. Where were they when he had needed them, suffering like he was. He had, had enough. The time was now, to get revenge and make them all pay for his pain.
