You’re going places in life. It’s what you tell yourself. It’s what gets you through one more night.
Just because you’ve had a bad day, doesn’t mean the world collapses. The world is still rotating, everyone in motion around you. Sure, everybody has days where you just want to flop over and die, but remember there’s still tomorrow.

“I’m not letting you finish that.” Without skipping a beat, Harold turned to look at me, his eyes melting in the light of the cheap-looking chandelier. “So, David. How are your mozzarella sticks?”

We ran slowly, as if in a trance, our hearts beating and hair flowing in the August wind. I grabbed his hand and kept going, laughing and smiling, wondering if this feeling could last forever. I wanted to keep this motion consistent… in my heart, head and lungs- pounding away. He grasped my hand harder and we continued across the fields, our hearts beating in unison.
The wheel that stays in motion tends to keep spinning. Physics is a goofy way of redefining common sense. For those physics out there I pose a question: what does a wheel at rest tend to do?

i sit and think about motion because im a loser. i guess motion reminds me of roller costers and i dont like those. i get sick on some. speaking of sick, i have to go to the dentist tomorrow and get a shot in the gums to get a cavity filled and im so scared its not even funny like wtf. ugh i hate the dentist.
Motion is such a hugely important part of life. Hearts beat. Eardrums vibrate. lungs expand and contract. Living is motion based. Motion is beautiful or graphic or scary or all of the above.
And then the train stopped. Opening my eyes, and sensing the motion had halted, I glanced out the window to see the strangest sight. An elephant pirouetting on the platform and waving a “welcome home” sign, all the while with a rose in it’s mouth. I rubbed my eyes and simply went back to sleep. It wasn’t that he was hyperactive, it was just that he liked being in motion. Inactivity made him nervous and didn’t seem normal to him, things got too quiet when they weren’t moving and the room seemed boring and lifeless without it.
The vehicle started moving. Startled, I jerked out of my half sleep-filled daze. My eyes widened when I learned that I had been tied up in the backseat. I let out a scream as the car sunk into the lake.
Motion. It’s a force. Hm, I’m not quite sure what to write. This is my first time… Motion is a force that moves us. What is its motive? To get us places? Forward motion, backwards motion, rotation, gravity, it pulls us. Or, do we drive it?

To move from one place to another requires a certain amount of energy so that you overcome the forces of inertia. Motion is an essential indicator of change.

The motion of the ocean inticed me to go beyond my zone to the depths of the ocean. To experience the new sights and smells I might encounter along the way. The boat rocking, puting a sense of relaxation in the air, while the temperature of the air, puts a shiver down my spine.
I set it in motion. The process has begun. It has been a long time coming, but I am finally free. Free of the heartache and of the choices I wish to not remember. I am becoming me one day at a time. It is a motion I am not as familiar with as I would like to be, but I am going to succeed nonetheless.
