  1. sometimes it’s really nice to be noticed, but other times i’d rather not be noticed. people can be really annoying when they always notice you and what you’re wearing and who you’re with. it’s really exhausting sometimes. i feel like i always have to be dressed to a “t” and with all the right people. I know it sounds bratty to say, but it’s true sometimes.

  5. There it was sitting on my desk, staring me in the eye as I walked towards it, modest looking envelope with that familiar loopy handwriting, but I knew what it was – a two month’s notice. Life was honoring the formality and giving me a two month’s notice.

  7. I walked up to the apartment door and saw it. Bright pink, of course. Couldn’t they at least have a little decency? For crying out loud I’m not a chick. I’m just broke.

  8. He walked down the hallway, books held close to his chest, with a hold not quite unlike a death grip. There he saw her, standing at her locker like she did everyday, and as he passed he looked away and made himself as small as possible. He would never be seen in her eyes.

  9. so one day i noticed that he was staring at me. i couldnt imagine why. im not noticable at all, me in my bland thrift store clothes, him in his designer couture. so why was he looking so intently? i still, to this day, cannot fathom why anyone would looks at someone so…normal, and just stare. it unnerved me how observant he was. i was scared. should i run? should i approach him and ask why? i’m not sure why i did what i did, but i chose the latter. i started to walk to him, only to have him turn away. only to have him walk away like nothing had happened. if only that man knew how much he had changed my life…just by noticing…

  10. notice the girl standing like a fly on the wall, watching it all, every puzzle piece fall. She is cute in her own kind of way, with a smile that flashes, and eyes almost gray. Her beauty is quiet but her mind is loud, give her a holler and prepare to be wowed!

  11. I noticed your status today. You’re “in a relationship” now, huh? I thought you actually cared about me. Did your little flirts with me mean nothing?

  12. I noticed that you weren’t listening. Why don’t you listen? You sit and you stare at me like i mean something, but i don’t think I do. I don’t think you notice me at all, even, not the words I say or the way i curl my hair for you, like the girls in the movies you watch. Did you see that I painted my lips red for you? That I made my eyes sparkle for you?

  13. Notice me.
    Please?
    I may be
    quiet.
    I may be
    shy.

    But I
    quietly
    adore you.
    I shyly
    wish you
    would
    notice me,
    please.

  14. The first time I walked into the room, my eyes didn’t glimpse what should’ve been most apparent. No, at first I saw the drapes, the way the sunlight streaked through the blinds. My mind ignored the sweaty, molding, rotting body right, dead center on the floor. It may have taken a while, but when I noticed who used to be my best friend lying a pool of his own caked blood, my knees felt quite the impact.

  15. notice her standing there, that look in here eyes like she just doesnt care. As if she didnt even need air to breathe she’s just floating by on her own breeze. And all you can do is sit there and smile, when all the while she is screaming inside for you to say hello. So take a chance and make ur day, and hers.

  16. I can’t help but notice how good you look over there, sir. I mean, you are perched up on that bar stool, completely unaware that I am looking at you. You’ve got that girl, and she’s beautiful, but she looks quite dumb. And you, you look extraordinary. Good hair, cute face, and like a million bucks. I bet you’d look good with me. You’d make me look good. Won’t you come over here and let’s see what we can be tonight.

  19. Excuse me miss, but I couldn’t help but notice that mishap that you have going on with your attire. I can see everything that you are trying to hide and I am utterly flabbergasted. That mole, the one right there, by your left armpit, I think it’s cancerous.

  20. I notice the word notice it also makes me think of notices like wanted posters of construction companies that put notices of on the fence surrounding the work site with their company name and logo on it like Hooker and Cockram from Melbourne, VIC Australia. Also there’s those notices for obtaining a liquor license or there’s also noticing a hella hot girl walking down the street.

  22. Noticing someone across a crowded room, all that Romeo and Juliet bullshit
    never should happen.
the people who crush you in the end are the ones you don’t even see to begin with.
the ones who you just happen to find yourself with almost against your will
and then they look at you
    you talk
and then you just kind of fall and fall and fall
    and spiral
and it’s all kind of crushed for the rest of your life.

  23. I noticed a notice about noticing people who notice that notices are placed so they are easily noticeable. Then I thought, “What is the meaning of life?” and then, my head exploded. But that’s just how life works sometimes.

    white on bark

  30. i noticed you standing there looking at me with a smile and it is loud and lovely. Notice of eviction. I still notice how this is purple. Why is my mom yelling at me? grrrrrr. anyways. notice is an action buscar-to look for. notice is passive, in a way.

  31. The notice taunted her, waggling its corners in the sharp wind. Natalie swore and crumpled it’s ill-behaved edges as she shoved it hard into her coat pocket. Close to tears she nearly slammed herself into her chair and surveyed the ruins directly in front of her.

  32. I notice you where there. Same spot as always. I notice you noticed me. I was there, looking at you, just staring into you dark eyes, dark as the night, dark as your feelings. I notice, I notice you were gone.

  40. notice the skyscrapers across the bridge. It’s a beautiful sight to notice. The land will go over the river when the bridges end, but nobody will notice. Nobody will notice when I’m gone, when the bridges are gone. Nobody will notice when my brother has frozen off the land. The theory of changes to notice are unfinished.
