  1. there are petitions for everything it seems. i rarely sign one myself even when people post them on my faceboook profile. occassionally one will come up that i feel very strongly about and i will sign it. the last petition i signed was to outlaw polar bear hunting in canada by non aboriginal peoples.

I didn’t know what he wanted but at this point, I didn’t care. I just wanted to pull him in and find out exactly what this dream boat wanted because I felt I had a few things up my sleeve for him, if he’d have me, blubbering and all.

  12. Sign the petition they say as they shove the clip board and pin in your face. A quick explanation but know real story, they hope you will jot your name down because your in a hurry. They’d re not use to people taking the time to be informed, theynprynin the business f the people comomg and going and their ultimate goal is not to inform the community but use the commu ity for one more signature one more name. It is time to be informed time to be in the know.

To be written down in lined script, make a mark, make a meaning. They wait to be changed. It is a means of gathering thoes of a like mind to a cause, and to get them to aid you in a quest of your own or someone elses devising. Petition that which means the most to you and it will not only show you what it is worth to others, but how useful it is as a concept to you.

The pen that writes the signatures of those who have the courage to say something different. To be different. To make the change this world needs. The power of the pen and paper. The petition.

  34. I have signed many petitions. I couldn’t tell you what all of them were… I signed one in elementary school trying to get rid of our teacher. My friend most recently started one trying to convince our acting professor that she should receive cardio log credit for moving the heavy sets as a crew member in a show. I wonder if it worked…
