there are petitions for everything it seems. i rarely sign one myself even when people post them on my faceboook profile. occassionally one will come up that i feel very strongly about and i will sign it. the last petition i signed was to outlaw polar bear hunting in canada by non aboriginal peoples.
It changed hands so quickly, so rapidly. Word spread. It was fascinating, and soon it got better. As things always do. This time with help – from friends, acquaintances and even strangers. All because of one man’s initiative.

With an ear-piercing drawn-out screeching the van came to a forced halt causing everyone inside to lean toward the front in unison. I just wanted to pull him in and find out exactly what this dream boat wanted because I felt I had a few things up my sleeve for him, if he’d have me, blubbering and all.

My friend most recently started one trying to convince our acting professor that she should receive cardio log credit for moving the heavy sets as a crew member in a show. I wonder if it worked…
people make petitons against things that they dont like, in order to prevent them from happenong. they do this by getting a large group of people to sing a form stating that they too dislike that thing.
