  1. One time I was presented with a problem. I couldn’t figure out what it was, but I knew that it was a big, big problem. I thought and thought about how to figure this out, but I didn’t know what to do. I went to a therapist, but all he told me was to find a way to ” identify my feelings”. I was so confused and angry. When I was asleep one night, I figured out my problem. I was lonely! I had no job and I was bored with life, so I decided to go to college. I got a job, found a husband, had a family. Now my problem is all gone!

  3. If I were to tell you one thing, I would need to tell you all of them. Once I get going, I begin to tell you everything. I have no secrets, and that is dangerous. I presented my entire life to you, laid it all out on the table, left me bare and vulnerable, and all you did was laugh at me. Thank you for making me feel so special, I’m so glad you’re my best friend. I hate you so much.

    by Bothersome Bunny on 12.10.2012
  4. He presented the case with the utmost conviction. The jury listened attentively to every word of his impassioned speech. They traveled with him to the distant corners of his adventure into the darkness, and appeared to empathize with his cause, but alas they remained indifferent to his sentence. The damage was done. In the end there is no justice.

  5. I presented a project to the class that nearly got me killed. I revealed the location of several C.I.A. agents undercover in the nearby area, who were meant to be protecting the President who was to visit our school later today. I was immediately arrested by the teacher who turned out to be an agent himself and put into a lockdown facility where they erased my memory.

  6. Presented with the new formal plan, she sat by and watched the winter weather cascade by the window, dreaming of new places and thoughtful atmospheres unlike the casual hell of her overburdened corporate world. Inside the mind of each sebring cut she could feel Maslow’s hiearchy of needs inverted.

  7. I presented my love to him long ago
And he turned away and left me
    With not even a farewell.
In the cold dark waters, I swayed to and fro
Surrounded by nothing but memories of what could have been.

Countless hours spent laying in my bed,
    Wondering what if,
    What if he was here,
With me to keep me from crying.

The name written in ink on my wrists faded
Those letters became replaced with red lines
    that Separated my skin..
Like how me and him became
    Just that much less
But at least I can see the signs of the red lines,
Unlike how I couldn’t see him but of a glimpse,

    Always beautiful.

Now he presents his love to me again..
    Should I have accepted it?
Are we both, two too different people?
The doubts in my mind surface, and surround me.
Replacing the dark, cold, numb waters.

Now I am presented with some choices.
And I don’t know where to go from here.

  8. i am presented to other people by myself because what they see is what i offer. a presentation is presented just like a personality. not everything can be revealed, I am wrong? well, i t seems that i’ve been influenced by the big lebowski, which is a life of a bum presented in a cool way. a present is presented?

    by Marija on 12.10.2012

    by Neelvar on 12.10.2012
  11. Yes. I finally did it. I felt the drama going around the classroom as I stepped in front of everyone and finally presented my work of art. A bead of sweat dripped down my face, but I read on, I read and I didn’t care what anyone else had to say about it.

    by Dylan DeBaun on 12.10.2012
  12. The presentation was swift. Click here, speak, read, click again. Many have presented in this manner. The teacher yawned in boredom. Everyone did exactly the same thing with their reports.

  13. a love is presented to you.
a push is presented to me.

    passion i present to you.
But shove you presented to me.

    by DwikiMahendra on 12.10.2012
  14. Love. It presented itself at a most awkward and perfect time in my life. Then it vanished at a most awkward and perfect time in my life. It made my life perfect, then awkward. Then so very sad.

    by Mary Koehler on 12.10.2012
  15. I’m very good at presenting. I love to talk in front of people. When something is presented the presenter and his/her presentation should be relaxed and the atmosphere should feel comfortable. Don’t you think?

    by Mary Koehler on 12.10.2012
  16. sighs permeated around her lips
we kissed like we never kissed before
    passionate and resentful
like it was the last time.

when it was all said and done she laughed
“you presented me with an option”, she said
    “me, or you. or us”
    and what did you choose?
    “none of the above”.

    by Matty M. on 12.10.2012
  17. The fear that presented itself to him as the fact that his younger brother really was dead was insufferable. Sobbing, he collapsed on the cold, hard floor, voicelessly mouthing the obvious: ‘This is my fault’.

    by Vikram Singh on 12.10.2012
  18. I walked up and presented. These words were my apologizes. They weren’t forgiving.

    by Jeanette Floyd on 12.10.2012
  19. You presented me with a quandary
    A head scratcher
    A ruse
You looked at me with knowing
    A reflection
    A truth
I laughed at you with abandon
    A gut buster
    A tickle
    Is that really your terminator
    Your destroyer
    Your pickle

  20. As he presented the award to me, the crowd went wild, confetti rained down from the ceiling, and I jumped up and down, screaming…

Just kidding, it was just another dream – the usual.

  21. And in that fleeting moment, he presented himself to me. Timidly, shyly. Testing the waters. Vulnerable, open. Presenting yourself as you are. This is me… without ego or pride. Raw, honest. The best present you can give, isn’t it? A breath of fresh air. Sincere, genuine. And if I can open that present every day hereafter, each day it will be the best present I’ve ever been given.

    by Kristin LR on 12.10.2012
  22. Presented. Presented can mean so many things, and I’m not saying that just because it sounds intelligent and it makes the beginning of my paragraph sound cool. Its because it just DOES. Presented. I presented my report today and I’m nervous of what grade I’m going to get. I presented the new idea for the company logo and I can’t stop thinking if it’s going to be approved or not. I presented myself to the crowd in a blue dress, I wonder if they approve of it. The thing that the word represents triggers so many emotions, that it just fascinates me. I presented this paragraph to the public and wondered if they would like it. Hopefully, they do.

  23. Opportunity presented itself
    it quaked in my bones
    it rattled my teeth
    and forced me
    to scream
    what I said
    bubbled at the top
and shoved it’s way at you
    simple start
    and I couldn’t stop
    “Want to hang out sometime?”

  24. I presented to you my idea. What you do with it is your decision, not mine. Good luck.

  25. presented
How the P presses on and the the Es squish the S’s squiggly courage.
Ending with a D that matches the P in an asymmetrical flourish.
Don’t they feel slightly squirmish in their charactered shell?
They don’t squirm because when they present themselves, they look well.

  26. I presented a project on Thor today.

This isn’t fictional, I actually did.

I had to write a ten-page paper and give a fifteen-minute presentation on a topic relating to my class on the Inklings, and it could be as loosely related as I pleased. Since we briefly explored Norse mythology in the class (because J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis were both largely inspired by it) I decided to do my project on the Thor comic books. And boy did it turn out to be about 3000 times more stress than anticipated.

  29. chanukah
    remembered
    like family memories
    distant, but warm
    like candles dripping wax
    presented to me
    by a rabbi
    too young to remember
    too old to forget
    those days gone by
    those times i thought
    happiness was a match
    and you were the wick.

  30. She presented the award to the retiring professor, a square plaque with gold trim, and his initials scribbled in next to a few choice words. As she handed over the award, the professor handed her a small note which she put in her right coat pocket. Later that night, when she left, she opened up the small folded note on half a napkin, and read, “I once couldn’t even read.”

  31. I was presented with a wonderful idea. Live in the present, not the past or the future. What a brilliant idea. I am now presenting this idea to you. Live for now and embrace today. Be happy in your own present. But don’t forget to take steps while in your present to enhance your future.

  32. I presented my heart to the class today. I told them it works in a funny little way. They laughed and said “What a piece of junk! nothing runs on love anymore!” I frowned at this and hid my heart away for i wouldnt let them take away what was so dear. The last thing of our true persons.

Do I want the change? I could let everything go that I have been working so hard to build.

Do I dare let go of my “so called dream” that I have been working soooo hard for these last few years???? REALLY!?
Yes, I am REALLY tired of the social media rat race and all of the marketing marketing marketing that it takes! UGH!
Now, I just need to be presented with how to let my following know…
Hmmmm… I am ready to be presented with that bit of wisdom now…
Waiting expectantly for that bit of info to be presented… :)

  40. This is the third time being “presented” with this screen… But obviously, I ‘m bored enough to sit here and rethink and rewrite using the same word, when the prompt is probably still going to come up with an error saying I’ve “already submitted” this thought… Okay.

    We’ll see what happens!
