Prints are what I use in etching, usually best for landscapes. I made a series of prints of the brooklyn bridge and also the millenium bridge in newcastle upon tyne. They were reasonably effective, especially in comparison to my first etch of a tree.

I hate it when I do my homework, but I dont have the time to print it. So when i get to class and ask to print the teacher gets all upset and moody with me. Its not my fault that I have no time. You can take the time to let me get one print.

Prints on the ground of a tiger. The tiger walks through the jagged underbelly of the jungle, thick with the roots of the trees which create the canopy blocking out the sun above. The mud sinks down slightly with each rounded print, the spikes where its claws were.

Paw prints on my floor—raw umber impressions leading from door to bowl. My Golden gets thirsty when she plays with her muddy tennis ball outside. She’s learned to drop the ball before entering at least. No more splatter spots between the tracks.

the fingerprints on her hand and on her face are beneath us. She cannot explain them, cannot hope to find anything different. Perhaps the fingerprints are her, are the way she thinks and the life she plans to have later in life. Maybe, just maybe, she’ll change her fingerprint one day, or implant a print on someone else, make them better, make them something else beyond what they ever imagined.

don’t think about the prints on my fingers. don’t think about them. i will love you with or without them. we can be, just be. we can hope for something else, hope for a better life. one in which we can be together. melt away from the earth, from everything around us. my fingerprints are all over you, within you and without you. i want yours on me, on my hands, to mold and form into mine so when i touch something, the whole world will know that we are together, are the same entity. you are me and i am you and you are more beautiful than you know
Joe hung the photo prints up on the gallery wall. Image after images of Emily hung on the white walls. He didn’t miss her, he knew that. Yet she had that habit of looking directly into the lens, and it was a little more eye contact than he’d wanted.

There are many types of prints. There are paw prints that an animal leaves. You can use it in a sentence like, “She prints the pictures on the printer.” There are also hand prints, or finger prints, or foot prints.

Making impressions that bore his mark upon everyone he met
But his prints were washed away by ocean waves
As he slowly vanished from everyone’s lives

The candy wrapper I picked up that afternoon was a mosaic of shoeprints. It made me wonder about the lives of people who stepped on it—they’re all going different paths, they have different destinations, and they wove different plans in their heads about their hundred-hundred tomorrows. At some point in their journey, their souls converge or slide upon each other without knowing it. This wrapper is a witness. If our souls ever bump into each other, will we be aware of it? Will you let the chance pass? Will another wrapper be recording our asymptotic history in its thin surface?

I wish everyone would still take Polariod pictures. A life of Kodak moments.
Where the moments fleeting took form in a physical embodiment of happiness. So I know that the beautiful moment that I had wasn’t a mere figment of imagination or a warped recollection of memories. So that, starting at the thin filament of time that I hold between my fingers, some moments are truly unforgettable.

I swear I didn’t do it, I said. See, I was talking with the police officers as they were searching my house. They didn’t believe me. Mrs. Withers was dead and I was a prime suspect. All of the kitchen knives in the block were suspect. I hadn’t done the best job, it goes without saying.

Fakes, Copies. Unoriginal. A print is the copy of someone’s original piece of art. Art is the recreation of one’s soul using expressive tactics like writing, painting, carving, and so on. The world is covered in “prints” I believe it is time to bring back our own creativity and showcase our own art. Cover your walls in art you have created, it is after all a piece of who you are.

She took a leaf and pressed the dark ruby red of it’s veins onto the page. Holding down for one, two, three, breathe. Four, five, six, press harder. Seven, eight, nine, Print. Embossed eternal, to be discovered at the age of twenty, eleven years later.

Prints, again. I had just written, no new word? Does artistic talent run so free and wild it must be recopied onto another page. Extracted slowly, painfully. The last source of inspiration like pressing a lemon against a juicer hoping to get more juice and no seed. This is a print, but no original.
someday my prints will come. we will live happily ever after amid the pages of our fairytale life.

Prints – handprints, finger prints, photo prints. All things describing one word and yet all the same—the leaving of something of one thing on another thing. Leaving a part of me behind when I place my inky thumb on the driver’s license bureau’s form.

Prints are many different things. From patterns such as animal coats or prints such as the footprints people make on your heart. Prints seem to be lasting things, infinite in their own right. Because of that they should be held on to.

Footprints are an easy way of telling what an animal is or what it may look like. Footprints don’t show up in the grass as much as they do in the dirt or in the snow. Human footprints are much different than animal footprints.
