  13. i don’t understand rallies, unless they’re for a good cause. Rally’s can be bad, like really bad. I don’t know. Like a KKK rally, or a rally to try and kill someone. But they can be good too, as long as people stay civilized. Which kind of defeats the definition.

    I have no regrets.

  23. Rally, there are so many meanings for this word and yet all I can think of is a car rally race. I can picture these dirty cars covered in the advertisements speeding up and down the road and flying over bumps, swerving and dodging. Surely I can think of something else to do with the word rally?

He really appreciated all our work, that’s why even though I’m tired I’m going to help him get reelected.

The school placed more emphasis upon sports and the athletes and completely ignored the academics. Where was the celebration when she took first place in the national math competition? Where was the celebration when the school’s debate team took first in state?
Emilie just absolutely hated them – they were ridiculous.

We let them stay hidden under the covers at home, sleeping dreamlessly.

The woman scoffed. “I’d rather not.”
