  2. Her boudoir was luxurious, filled with lively flowers that whistled the colors of the forest. Her bed was a canopy, and her wardrobe made from the richest of mahogany’s, a beautiful deep red color. Of course, it was all this was because she could afford it; there is always money in abandoning home.

  4. Wrapped in silk, sitting in the rooftop garden while eating dark chocolate all day, ordering room service, and remaining in my pajamas…all the while receiving a pedicure and massage. On a Tuesday.

  9. Luxurious. The black sheets of the warm bed in which he lied with his lover, in his arms. He wanted nothing more than to stay here forever, in this perfect world of piece, but he knew he’d have to get up soon; He’d have to get up and beat back the devils that cursed the land, watching his friends fall because of him. When the tear fell down his face his lover caught it and hugged him tightly; he knew how the man in his arms felt.

  10. Nothing in society is as sure, as the fact that luxury is desired above what is needed. Our desire for ‘wants’ comes above our need for ‘needs’ in our minds, as we continuously decrease the knowledge of a secure and solid base.

Like silk and roses and wine.
    Soft and warm and hot.
    I feel your presence
    whether your here or not.

  12. luxury can be relative. I find being able to sit in the sunlight reading a book luxurious. Some people find a 10 bedroom mansion luxurious. It really all depends on one’s ideals. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Luxury is just the same.

  13. We sprawl. Thats the thing about all this. How we can lay about and not worry about a thing: exams, politicians, impending doom, the whole deal. And we find, slowly that we don’t give a damn– you heard me– not a damn about any of this. We learn to carry out our quiet luxurious existances without thinking about it much, and this is how we’ve entered a state of– I wouldn’t call it complacency, no, but almost a return to a child-like apathy.

  14. luxury!
i’ve hit the delete button millions of times now because luxurious is not something i can write. the purple bar at the bottom is moving faster towards the end, and i’m still not inspired, except for that one word at the top, with the exclamation point. but what will that do, how can someone even read that? pathetic excuse, like, i dunno. like teachers who want to make something seem important or fun, “science research! due date coming up! math test!”

  15. When I think of luxury, I think of the first class cabins on internationally flying airplanes. Or just owning an airplane in general. It’s odd really. I think I should think of pearls and diamonds and plush houses, but I don’t. I think of being in the sky.
