  2. You’re revolting. You’re everything I hate. You’re everything I’ve never wanted to be. And I see it, every day, every second. With everything you do. Sickening. Disgusting. I hate your existence. And I hate this mirror.

    by Chuls on 02.10.2011
  3. Revolting is the act of attempting to usurp the “main man” the “power” and installing a new power. Although I should know better, sometimes I want to revolt against my family.

  4. She knew it was time no matter how much she tried to convince her subconscious that it wasn’t right, and neither was she. She needed to break out of that comfortable hell, and revolt against everything her heart knew wasn’t love, but was too used to holding onto. She was ready. She stepped outside. The light shone.

  10. Revolting doesn’t have to be loud, angry mass rebellion. I am currently revolting in a silence. Alone in a silent fury. I am rebelling against the ideals that were instilled in my mind at a young age. Which ideals am I referring to? True love. Soul mates. Happily ever after. Believing that there is someone out there who will love me for who I am. Who won’t lie, scheme, play games or whore around. Who would go to the ends of the earth for me. But today you proved that wrong. You were supposed to be my Prince Charming. I thought I loved you. Sadly, I think I still do. Unfortunately while you were making me fall in love with you, you were making love to her. And the second I found out all those dreams were instantaneously destroyed. Reality check, Jessica- there is no happily ever after. What was I thinking? I am revolting against Mr. Perfect.

  11. revolt is an intense wortd, something that means aggresivity, means tumult, a lot of people, i mean i dont even know how much to right about it, its a symbol of revolution, a way of just releasing, being too tired of something so you just decide you want a change, it is unreal to think that revolt might be seen as something bad when its just a way of expressing the way a person thinks, a way to be different, being in revolt just means that you are really fighting for what you think is right, like being in revolt because you dont like the food at school, its crazy, i mean just because you revolt against something doesnt mean you are bad or should get in some trouble, then again the word revolt suggests agressivity and also u cant revolt in pro of something, making this a negative word, why not argue that its a neutral word? a word that can mean against and in pro? why does it necessarily have to be negativwe? why are all these words designed to give only one feeling? anywayz, revolt thats a strong word, how many times in this world have people revolted?

  12. There was a huge revolt in the city when I met him. I couldn’t stay long, as the crowd was becoming more and more hostile by the minute, but for the moments we locked eyes I felt as if I were in heaven. And he smiled as if we had known each other for a million years. An explosion close by woke me from my stupor and I began to run. I didn’t look back, even though I wish I had. And just like that I began my search for love.

  13. I want to revolt against everything. Not really, just some things, but I used to want to revolt against everything I knew. what’s a revolt anyway? Like a revolution? No, it’s just doing things your way isn’t it? Why can’t I do things my way? Revolt. Sounds French. I like the french. DO they like to revolt? Maybe. Probably. Revolution and all that, but then again, it’s not exactly the same thing. This app thingy is COOL

  15. rebellion, what i wish i could do.
something you must do to achieve happiness.
violence, chaos, or absolute silence. many different forms and reasons,
    but all for a purpose.
    purposeful, not meaningless. never meaningless.
    stupid, but not meaningless.

  17. Revolt.. I don’t even know what that word really means, but the first thing that comes to mind is revolting.. which i think means disgusting. I’m not sure though. I wish I knew what else to write but I don’t, so now I wait until time runs out.

  19. Revolt? How about revolting? How about Egypt and what’s going on there? Revolt. I used to think coffee was revolting. I remember my father saying that it was not. I guess I have to agree, but I still don’t drink much coffee. Revolt. Against what? So much discontent in the world, so much courage in standing up against what must be very scary things. Military force, risk of injury and death, torture. Revolt. The French revolution, the American revolution.

  22. Revolution. The best thing in the world when all is dark is simply to revolt. Revolt against the injustices humanity has desired. Revolt against greed, against crime against hunger. Revolt against those who say there is no need for revolting. Revolt. This is sanity.

  23. It was a sad night. ALl over the country, lights and hearts were extinguished. I went out to the balcony and smoked a cigarrette, two, three now. They would be here by morning, if not earlier, and it would all be different.

  27. That’s just what I do to my parents when they impose things on me. I hate it. I want to do what I want to do. Why can’t I just make up my own rules? Stop trying to live my life for me.

  28. He trusted him. He knew that, though the seeds of anarchy were sown deeply in the man’s soul, he would never stage a mutiny. Not on this ship–not when the men were so attached to both their captain and their doctor. They were good men, really, good men that trusted each other and trusted the old wooden beams of the aging ship.

Though the gleam of defiance, the sliver of revolt, still shone.

Were he a lesser captain and were his friend a lesser man, he’d be unsettled.

As it were, he was entirely secure with a rebel aboard.

  29. Sitting at a table,
    room silent,
    feelings lacking,
    relishing in the static noise
    of nothing,
    like a piano player
performing in an empty hotel lobby,
notes ringing into the open air,
    disappearing before it gets
    to one ear.
    Dissipating into silence
    like evaporating water.

  30. Revolt, war, thugs
    Patience, peace, change
    Democracy. Revolt

  33. revolt and shock me
    to the floor
    and out the door
    leaving you behind
    with your wasted
    lines
    and lies
    and reused rhymes
    revolt
    me once more
    a chance again
    after a thousand
    before
    revolt and shock
    me
    to the floor and
    out the
    door.

  34. I’m thinking about the folks in Egypt. They’re just really upset right now. It’s interesting that we’re actually hearing about something that’s happening in Egypt. Seems like we only hear about tragedies or natural disasters outside the United States.

  35. it was a stormy saturday evening. no one in the streets but james, and his tail. they walked along in difficult peace. att odds, they never indulged their hatred unless something broke the equilibrium. fire, smoke, and then the ashes.

  38. I think of change and the more defining moments in human history. Revolt is triumph of the human spirit. It is the truth. It is the light. It the ultimate goal. Nothing will change. Nothing will happen.

  40. Out of all the Beates albums I own, and trust me there are quite a few, Revolver is my favorite. I don’t know why the word revolt makes me think of this outstanding work, probably because the begins are the same (REVOLt and REVOLution), but I do know that it is a perfect album to listen to today of all days. And this is perfect word. We all know what is happening over in Egypt. They are having a revolution and I wish I was there to support them. Today was supposed to be their day. The day when their president steps down and passes his power to a new leader, but that didn’t happen. And a girl, somewhere in the middle of New York, didn’t listen to revolver.
