  5. There is nothing comparable to the rise and fall of the moon in the south. It’s almost as if you can see that the sun is leaving you, but the moon holds the promise of a clear night full of surprises.

  6. Rise over me is my friend Brandon’s band. I love his music. He reminds me of lots of music I listened together in high school. There is a song called Madi don’t leave me. It sounds like his band. Its my favorite song. Since they use my name and it is spelt my way. I’m pretty sure its written about me. :)

  14. He rises in the evenings, after the sun goes down, He’s not a happy or an easy riser, preferring to stay in bed even if he can’t sleep any longer. But once awake, he faces his day. Not necessarily with a smile on his face. He makes his breakfast, and yes, he eats breakfast, and then coffee, and then obviously smokes.

  17. Every morning I have to wake up. Arise. Get out of bed, think about what will come of my day. I struggle. I’m scared for the occurances to come. But thats one of the wonders in life I believe. Not knowing what the day holds, but one of the worlds greatest fears as well.

  21. Waking up in the morning, alone. Not being awaken by an noise or a touch, but simply waking. Opening your rested eyes to the bright, new world. Knowing things have changed while you were dozing. Or changing without sleep, getting up off your knees and moving on. Choosing to forget something that was doing you no good. Just like sleep, it’s refreshing. Gives you a new lease on life. A new beginning. Rising from the ashes, like a phoenix in the night. Rising from the dead, like Jesus in the tomb. Rising can only bring good. There’s no evil in rising.
