262 Entries for “rules”

  1. I don’t believe in rules. Rules are limits. Rules are standards. They’re merely a way to hold me back. And NOTHING holds me back.

  2. RULES! I don’t like giving people them. and i certainly don’t like pointless ones. such as, you can’t drive 86 on the highway. what is that about? it wasn’t hurting anyone and now im in a world of trouble. fuck. this is why i don’t give rules to others – they never help! they only make people dishonest. this is really wisconsin with all the dangling participles.

  3. Rules are the boundaries that surround us and bind us. For some they are unnecessary constraints that chafe. For others, they are all the protection they have from the violence and offenses of others.

  4. some say
    that they’re meant to
    be
    broken.
    shattered.
    taken with little
    regard.
    but maybe they exist for
    a reason
    beyond you and me.
    maybe they exist
    to keep us
    together.

  5. Rules
I set them to break them
I set a trap for myself
so when I fall for the luscious mirage I fall hard
I become entrenched in a pit of mud
the walls so slippery they can’t be scaled
    when I’m stuck so deep–
why would I ever be surprised?

That’s right, she’s afraid of me. With good reason, too. Forget these rules, forget this school. And he got up, and he walked out of the classroom.
