that wasn’t on my schedule.
Jam-packed. One class for an hour, hour break. Two classes, lunch. Class, nap time of fifteen minutes. Tight, tight, tight. No time, no breaks, little rest. Yet a moment of peace in between to write.
My schedule is always busy. I feel like I can’t catch a break, you know, to just stop and enjoy the day. It’s like I can’t get away for even one minute because I have so much to do and so little time. How on earth am I supposed to just let go of everything and stop to enjoy things?
“What a funny prompt!” she thought when the word appeared on her monitor. Her schedule this week would be crazy, hectic really. In addition to all of the regular running around, she had a hair appointment, tutoring session, school meeting, birthday party, and of course, she couldn’t forget the traffic slow down caused by the presidential motorcade.

I’ve had such a hectic schedule for the last four months that absolutely nothing comes to mind to write about today,” Martin wrote in his blog as he floated through the empty corridors. “I guess I figured six months up here would be a great opportunity to finish my book, but I can’t even make it past, ‘It was a dark and stormy night.’ Of course, ‘dark and stormy’ looks a whole lot different from 15 miles up.”
She checked her schedule, and turned quickly into the gymnasium. She ran into something hard and fell to the ground with a loud thump. She looked up just in time to see a man towering over her. “Oh, I’m sorry,” she whispered meekly.

The schedule never really helps. You try to follow it, but it just makes it seem like there are more and more things to do. Here’s an idea: scrap the schedule! Do things spontaneously. Your life will be the more adventurous for it. Things will still get done, you just have to remember more.
There is a reason for everything, and a time for everything. We just don’t always know the where, or why or when. I will be with you someday, just not right now. I have kids to raise, and I need their father for that.
