  1. I love science. We do it all the time. We study everything from Birds to space. We get together with others and have fun doing experiments. What else. I don’t know. We are currently studing about Earth and it’s pretty awesome too. Next we will study, let me see Mercury I think. Awesome again. I would like to study more about Anatomy.

  5. science is the study of how everything…connects, and works together. it is the science of nature-plants and animals, geography and discovery, the “hows” and “whys”.

  6. Science versus God? The fact is that these two are so diametrically opposed that a discussion about the differences is not possible, or is it? This week, scientists announced that they may have found the ‘God’ particle and that our lives will change incredibly because of it. Does this mean that they DO belive in God?

  7. Can science provide all the answers to those questions that still baffle us?

Maybe one day. In the meantime it will still never be able to explain why only one sock comes out of the washing machine when they always go in in pairs or why there is always one teaspoon at the bottom of the washing up bowl when you didn’t have any to wash.

  8. Science is the essence of all life, it gives us what we strive for, a purpose or rather a meaning into what we assure ourselves to do. We’re it not for science we would not know where we we’re nor what we we’re. What brought us here, and who are we.

  9. i have still not come to understand the science of our bodies, attracted to each other like magnets, where only a higher force can pull us apart.

  10. science is the convoluted explanation to our life. from the minuscule human cell to the complexity of quantum physics, science enlightens our generation with new discoveries every single day.

  11. Science was one of my favorite subjects until I got to high school. Everything got so complicated; I ended up hating it. At one point I thought it was all a joke because of my religion.

  12. I can remember my first introductions to science and it’s magical world like it was yesterday. There was something so invigorating about figuring the way things worked.

    by Sam on 07.06.2012
  13. I love science and everything that it is. I love just learning how things are made and meant to work. It’s so beautiful to find out about the things that people stray away from and are afraid of and honestly just how it works.

  14. Science is important, but there is so much more to life than carbon.

  15. Science is the reason we have knowledge. Not religion. But science. Science betters are intelligence. And what surrounds us is all explained through this simple word: science.

  16. So science is apparently what makes the world go round… Science is my worst subjec in school… Uh yeah… Hmmmmm science is pretty cool if you’re a geek I guess… I hate it… I almost failed freshman year. Yep!!!!!! :):):) I’m bored… Yeah GO SCIENCE! Woo………….

  17. blame science is what they say. always with a smile, always with a knife behind their back. screaming. sweating. faith is important. but science dictates that faith isn’t enough. it makes you question the answers you’ve put forth for yourself. because there are questions left over, those with faith call it a faith. but it’s a crazy faith to call it a faith.

  18. The old man sat comfortably in his chair. The experiment was finally over. It had taken him 23 years, but he finally created a new breed of animal. This animal had magical abilities that you’d only hear of in childhood fairy tales, but Dr. Shavnick made it real.

  19. Science!
That’s what he shouts every time he’s trying to prove he knows what’s what.
    Getting hit in the balls?
    ‘Course that hurts.
    It’s science!

  20. Science is so much more logical than God. God is a ridiculous theory. Who created God? And if someone created God, who created the thing that created God? Really, let’s be reasonable here… I’m taking 3 science classes next year. Woop! Exciting… lmao

    by Jamie on 07.06.2012
  21. Science is my favorite subject. I’m a sophomore and I now take chemistry but I love science more than most things! I’m planning to be a neurologist so science is going to be a really big part of my life and that makes me happy because I love it! You’ll probably see me in medical magazines… that is if you don’t hear me on the radio because my main goal is to become a singer! See you all!

  22. Science is hard facts, we systematically gather evidence towards a rational or most apparent answer. Science is seen as a rival to religion but it hardly should. They should just ignore the confliction and focus on the unknowns to both. Or at least I think they should, I see them as two separate subjects when they could in fact be the same, or perhaps I am entirely wrong and both cannot and will not coexist.

Conflicts are hard to define. The simple solution would be a compromise because these arguments seem entirely silly to someone who observes that both parties sees no solution. This is at the foundation of the world however, and this conflict, is now one being exacerbated over the internet on many platforms.

  23. His experiments were getting more and more dangerous. You could barely even recognize my face after all that had happened. He had taken my human face and maimed it so badly, not even my mother would know it was me. I wanted to tell him to stop, but I feared the punishment. So I suffer silently. Trapped forever in this torment

  24. And if science is what connects us then I am baffled by it’s complexity in a world where simplicity is supposed to be the answer. We take classes and courses and seminars and I feel we’re no closer to discovering that science doesn’t want to be understood. We’re no closer to realising that it all doesn’t matter.

  25. A scientist scurried across the drab and decroded laboratory to his many chemicals. One by one he added them to the giant glass vat as it bubbled and steamed. Sweating with an insane smile spread out beneath his reflective goggles, he added the last ingredient. And explosion followed by a sound like that of thunder and the screams of millions of souls escaped from the orifice of the vat. Slowly, ever so slowly, a hand reached over the rim and a human-like creature arose. The scientist’s laughter echoed throughout the lab and washed over the newly created creature.

  26. Epistemology asks us how we know what we know- but it never seems to touch on truth- Truth with a cap T is an offering, a personal and subjective lesson of both math and morality, of physics and philosophy. Thus, Science is that concept of knowledge, of what can be and is known, Truth without boundaries, truth bounded.

    by Richard Braithwaite on 07.05.2012
  27. Science is the basis of the whole world, without science I wouldn’t know how or why the big bang happened and why we can stand on our feet. Without science, there would be chaos in the world as no science would mean no explanation of existence. It’s baseless without science

  29. Addresses our most prominent questions with rationality and seeks truth. It is a good thing, but it is not everything. Rationality is wonderful, but we can’t forget that not everything in this world can be made sense of rationally. One example: Us

  30. the science of falling in love. the equations that never add up. the chemistry that fails. the heart break in the lab. the science of losing yourself.

  31. Science explains everything. It’s just the nature of the subject. Science relates to everything, turns it upside-down, inside-out, and tries its best to explain away every sense of magic there is in life. Not to say I dislike science; quite the contrary, actually. Life, as it is now, would have been impossible without it. People say that the scientific explanation for why we love or why we exist is an atrocious offense to our traditional romanticized beliefs. But whether or not happiness is caused by dopamine or love is caused by our instinctual sex-drive, those feelings, the ones that can only be expressed through poetry and prose and flowery metaphors; those are still there, and that’s magic enough for me.

    by Isabelline on 07.05.2012
  32. Science was never my strongest subject. But it was going to have to save my life now that I was stuck in here. I couldn’t figure out if I should pour the red chemical or the bubbly one into the constantly rising acid in the beaker.

  33. I had to arrest the thought that I might disintegrate before reaching the vial of matter. I was an English major who had to somehow save the world by employing the little knowledge he had in a field he thought he left in his high school years. Reciting Shakespeare would not cure a nation.

  34. This word has come up before. I guess One Word recycles. Which is great for the environment. And ideas sometimes. Sometimes ideas need to be recycled. Reused, rehashed, regurgitated.

  35. michelle thought wisely before she answered the aging, crippled abbott. His religion had left its mark on his life with a series of scandelous behaviours due to being suppressed from his humanly ways which science has proven help us be the best

  36. the equivilant of religion in todays age the explanation of how but not why science has helped to weed out the lyers and tricksters who try to take your soul and money and lie about how to reach the heavens above claiming their way is the only way when every way is the way, it is up to us as a collective as to how our heaven will be

    by clair on 07.05.2012
  37. this is what I dedicate my life to. it is imposed upon my life as a form of religion yet it is not a religion of my own. It does not infuse me with a passion singularly but only when it is integrated with human application does it stir me.

  38. She took out a flask with green goo and presented it to Jazz. “This is real! Proven facts, Jazz,” she yelled. He gave a yawn and walked back to his living room.
