  2. Shape is what the world judges you by, it is who you are. All sorts of shapes are around you and it influences how well you like something, use something, or even how attractive it is. I find Shape to be a poor judgment because it doesn’t determine value or a person or item, it just describes it.

  3. People come in all shapes and sizes. That’s why I’ve fallen in love with climbing. You don’t have to to be stick thin to do it. You don’t have to be burly and muscular. You just have to learn how to move. Movements and strength combined let you scale the wall. It’s like dancing. Graceful and calm.

  5. There was a shape in the window. She’d never noticed it before, which was alarming, considering it was her home. It was not the silhouette of a human, just an abstract shape outlined against the brightness of the internal light she was almost certain she’d turned off. Something wasn’t right. The shape felt wrong, even from outside, with her keys in her hand.

  6. I know I can’t go back and reshape my past. But sometimes it’s all I wish for. Regret fills my every cell, and I can’t stand myself anymore. My friends think I’m mean to them? I turned on my family when they needed me most. And only when it was too late did I want to care. That’s the definition of pure meanness.

  7. Shapes of things are very important. Often what one can see is the first piece of information one receives. When things are shaped well, it pleases the viewer. When they are not, the viewer experiences a sense of unease. Whether or not something is shaped well, however, is based on the viewer’s expectations and standards.

  8. You know I’m in terrible shape. It seems like the minute I turned 40 my whole body started giving up. Every time I go to the doctor now days I find a new ailment. By the time I get to 60 I’ll either be dead or totally replaced!

  9. it is the one defining thing that happens in this conundrum of life. i wish i could explain this more thoroughly but my words are running out, as time often does. i hope you understand where i am coming from but to stop in the process of living means that your are giving up on the shape of your very existence. this is something you should not do. please do not give up. never give up. shape defines you.

  17. Shape. We all think we need to have the perfect “shape.” Why is that? Why do we let societies norms control us to believe what is the perfect body or look? Isn’t a rather cruel demanding world to place the stamp of approval on those who we think is literally perfection based on their size, shape, and weight?

Someday, after the clay had hardened and her soul complete, a perfect sphere would be left in her wake, guiding others to shape their own lives by her example.

  26. Shape. Oh gosh, so many possibilities again. I’m remembering a picture in art class when I was in elementary school. A kid drew a bunch of shapes, but the shapes themselves were made out of smaller versions of that same shape. I think we were in second or third grade. Pretty young. It looked cool, and the kid had intersected the shapes and everything. Way out of anyone else’s league.

I’m supposed to strive to fit in, but instead I want to stick out. I’m tired of doing what everyone else is doing. Don’t tell me to get good grades, don’t tell me to make new friends. If I clean up my act, my originality is gone. Don’t make me into something I’m not.

  30. my favorite shape is certainly the circle. it even has a song written after it. it is the best shape i know of – mostly because it never ends. A never ending shape is a novelty. Squares and rectangles and triangles all change and end in time, but a circle last forever. Everything can be put into context using a circle.
