  5. I went to a dance class and I learned to do the shuffle. We shuffled to the left and we shuffled to the right, then we did a turn about and started all over again. Have you ever done the shuffle? It takes a lot of energy and you burn many calories. It is a good was to lose weight.

I’m shuffling through this part of my life figuring out what is what and who is who and trying to understand what it’s all for and if I’m even doing anything right and then you oh you with your big brown eyes you just had to come and stir it all up you are like the fall wind that disrupts all of the leaves and plucks them from their places and throws them into the sky you make the world beautiful and meaningful and yet I don’t understand you at all so here goes nothing as I shuffle through this part of my life with another pair of footsteps on my right

    In her youth, my mom was a dancer. I only knew her after she had seven kids … and four more to come. So to think of her as a lithe dancer was a stretch for me. But one day, she started to do a tap dance. She did the step: Shuffle Off To Buffalo. She really COULD dance!

  35. today my dad had a poker party and he was the dealer so he had to shuffle the deck of cards. a different way to explain it is he mixed the cards up so he could deal them.
