  1. The skeletons in my closest, change the way i look at love and life. I can never say i love you first for i will feel heartbroken from rejection. The skeleton under my skin is the only strong thing about me these days. My heart doesn’t even stand a chance. One day my skeleton will rot away.

  2. My body has been sitting so very heavily on my bones. My whole skeleton has sagged and bent, bowing under the weight of skin and tired gristle.

  3. Skelotens are the basic bone structure providing us a solid foundation for growing and strength and standing etc etc. You get what I mean? Basically they’re just there to put everything else on top of, like a table, but made of calcium and a few other compounds. Though I’m not sure which exactly. Depending on how you think about it.

  6. Skeletons are in the closet. Or are supposed to be. Some deny they exist, but that seems hollow. Some lean toward admission, but only to cover. Finally all know truth in the inward parts, and know no denial or cover will do.

  10. The bones were white, painted white by a shaky fifth grader’s hand while a mother looked on. A science project, once upon a time.
    But now, something different.
    Skeleton –
“Honey, are we keeping this?” Mr. Marret called to his wife.
She stopped by the door and looked in, smiled.
    “Yes,” she said.
    “Why?”
“Skeletons,” she said, “in the closet.”

  11. I believe that everyone has a skeleton in their closet. Or, more likely, more than one. The ease in which a human being can sweep something under the rug has increased due to the improved technology of the era. On the other hand, the same technology allows information to be found out more easily. Be careful what you attempt to hide.

  15. The skeletal remains of the girl, of Lyca, was a terrible sight to see. Anyone who knew her was devasted, and those who did not were at a loss of what to say or think, because there were the remains of that little girl, of a little girl with a promising future, that was abruptly snuffed out a year ago by a bad man and his lustful desires. He took her, he raped her, and he murdered her, and now her family was left to pick up the pieces; including of her skeleton, her little bones.

  17. The skeleton is a valuable thing. Without it, the body would be nothing but jelly. It would slide down the gutters and get lost in the rain. People would literally be nothing but blobs, incapable of shaking hands or hugging. The world would have no violence and no peace. Just blobs.

    by Nick Light on 07.23.2011

For some reason, I began to wonder how in the world it appeared there without me knowing. 37. Without the support of a skeleton, the body is just a gelatinous mass, much like ideas without evidence or supporting facts. Skeletons are more important than people believe them to be, much like the fact that people need support for their ideas before they open their mouths.

  38. I reached back and pulled apart his skin. I wanted to see who he truly was, behind the mask. His skeleton was so beautiful, like tearing apart a flower: delicate to the touch. Which was rotting, as she sleeps.
