  2. the last time i went to a spa was….never. Yes, never. And I wonder why that is. I live in a place where there are at least two spas per block, which is pretty insane. but i guess it’s not meant to be? At least not yet. i’ll wait for the perfect time. a time where i need to relax and enjoy life

  3. The Security Patent Agency was much like any other nationally conducted orchestra. It had it’s unnecessary extras and necessary omissions, among these omissions was myself. Tim Hammersly was my name there, on this website I will go by a seperate but more personal alias. Call me Radience. This is one of the only loopholes I have found in the aggressive filters of government censorship. You will here from me soon in other forums.

  4. i looked around. Did my sister really own this place? I thought she was a slob.
“So,” Donna sighed, putting her hand on my shoulder. “What do you think, V?”
“I think I’m gonna faint,” I grinned. My sister owned a spa. I’d have fun with this.

  6. they spent their days relaxing like it was nothing, there in their mud baths in the day spa of the glories of adulthood. but soon, they would come to realize that nothing in this spa was at it had ever really seemed, that what they were actually lying in was not a mixture of botanical dirt and water, but actually the shit that they had to realize day in and day out. this was an awakening spa.

  9. Relaxation. Pain. Over priced. Not worth it. Go read a book, take a bath at home, get outside, go for a swim. Maybe they are fantastic things; I have just never been.

  12. She entered the room, and the sudden tranquility brought tears to her eyes. Why here, why now, she did not know. But, the beauty of the sounds, dim lights, and mystical waves engulfed her. After her recent miscarriage, she needed a break—a break from home, a break from work—a break from life. The spa attendants began working their magic, and she was free—not forever, or even for the day—but, for an hour, she was free. Running to her blue Suburban through the pouring rain, the tears returned. She sat there, the only car in the lot, and sobbed.

  13. I would like to go to the spa. One day of complete relaxation. One day to my self, to my thoughts. Though, only people who can afford it go to spas… why is the luxury of being pampered only reserved for those

    that’s actually pretty scary
i dont like people touching me…. ever
so why would i pay people to do it?
    its so creepy
what if they break your hand
    or your foot
or stab you in the back
    it’s just unsafe
    dangerous
    and too personal
i dont even let friends touch me that much
    ………..
    gah
    makes me shiver
    with trepidation…

  16. I went to the spa today to relax. The kids have been really hectic lately. Not to mention my job. Oh god, the hours feel like decades. Luckily the spa is where I can get away from everything. The kids, work, family, and all my life’s problems. Where I can dip into the relaxing warm waters and feel the pains and aches of life wash away. Oh how I wish I could stay longer, to just stay in this spa forever.

  17. The spa. A place for the privileged to spoil themselves, as if their lives weren’t good enough. A self-absorbed endeavor. To reward themselves for a mediocre, soft life.

  18. White, white and sanguine. Towels were piled up haphazardly when we walked in, admiring the wreckage of excess. How much money was spent here? Surely, thousands. Surely it was all temporary, as temporary as the clouds of steam gradually condensing into a warm interior rain. We exited, impermanent as everything within.

  19. ahhh, lavender the smell that filled the W hotel. we were staying across the hall from one of the best spas ever…i could picture myself laying in a mud bath with cucumbers on my face but we had other plans. I was in LA and I couldnt wait to get a taste of movie land.

  21. Everywhere he went, the presence of bubbles indicated he should be cautious when approaching. No place required this caution more than his sister’s spa. The nastiest, smelliest fish could be found there most afternoons, lazing about in the sunshine. His sister called the fish ‘Robbie’, but he was certain such a vile creature had no name. Every time his sister got close, the fish began to eat her face. He had tried to save her, but the fish just pushed him away. All he wanted was his sister back! He hated the nasty spa fish.

  22. A sigh of relief escapes her lips. She leans back, relishing the sensation of the soft white robes against her skin and the sweet-smelling steam. It was her only chance to go to the spa this year, and she intended to enjoy every last moment of it.

  23. GodDAMN, has it been a long day. And what a fitting word. I could so go to a spa right now. I’ve been having this lower back pain for quite some time, and i;d love to get it ironed out. I’m thinking of how relaxing it is being in a spa, particularly on vacation. It really is lovely..by the beach, with rose petals, soothing music, and a nice fragrance surrounding you.

  24. I don’t like this word. It reminds me of pampered rich folk who sit around all day on an island with cucumbers in their eyes. With nothing better to do. I’m sure it’s relaxing, and they deserve some “me” time, but sitting in a spa is probably one of the most nonconstructive things a person can do.

  25. a relaxing and calm place to be, but theres always that asshole that cant sit still or stay quiet, thus ruining your relaxing experience.

  28. The spa was dark, lifeless. Peter stepped inside and looked around. In the corner, he saw a shadow; it resembled the hanging body of Allister Lionel.

A man stepped through the door.

  29. A spa day would be so great, especially after long days at work. It would be so nice to go out with friends and spend the day being pampered. I always like cucumbers on my eyes. :)

  30. Cucumber excrement deposited on the leisure class; disposable income squeezed through tubes and lathered onto pale skin. Hot chemical baths designed for the old and well-rested. The ancien regime occupies jobs, has their children occupy wallstreet…

  31. Respecting yourself. Man worship.

Worshipping man doesn’t have to be an arrogant, dirty thing. It means that you worship man’s highest potential at his most pure state. It means you celebrate what we are capable of without glorifying the individual. Is there anything more noble than that?

  32. Spa… ha! A spa in my life. Like heaven. i WONDER WHAT it feels like to be in heaven. To be dead….
I wonder whereas its them who are dead or is it us who ignore the truth about our reality.

  33. Spa? Massage you’re worries away. Forget everything. Think only of yourself. And the fact that those hand are getting uncomfortably close to you’re ass. Stay calm. Stay positive.

  34. I think I have
    some Jung on the brain
    yearning for word association
    until spa becomes spar
    becomes battle
    becomes victory
    becomes life
    becomes death
and all the circles in between

  35. The world should provide free spa days, 3-times-monthly, for women, and 4-times for moms.

  37. Her fingers twisted through each strand. It felt good just to touch him, to embrace even just a hair follicle ready to be pampered. They sat like this all the time, his head between her legs, her knees far apart but reveling in their hidden playmate. And yet, with the bursts of sexual tension, it seemed neither of their significant others could feel the attraction. Just a friendly hair do.

  38. I lean back and rest my eyes. The soothing cream is smeared on my face and I exhale a deep breath I had been holding it. The massage begins on my feet and I let my muscles ease themselves a little further. It’s been too long since I’ve had a “me” day.

  39. I went to the spa yesterday. They told me I needed work done. I told them to shove it. They didn’t like that. I didn’t care. I never care. Why should I?
