  1. Power. Control. Strength exists deep within the soul; not something you can achieve throughout physical performance, but rather wisdom, knowledge, ideas collected throughout ones lifetime.

  3. Ruins lives, ruins relationships. The bane of our existence. There is no strength only perception. There an be strong minded and strong bodied. It is the balance of the two in which the holder of such strength has the most power. Power is dangerous. Strong implies “more than x”. If we are strong then we are unequal. Equality is important. We must work together.

  4. It takes strength to stand up for yourself in front of someone you love. I’ve learned today that using that strength can put you into a pissed off kind of mood. Great..

  5. I need more strength. I’m not strong enough to do much. Pull ups? No way. Get up and NOT procrastinate for once? Oh, oops, too lazy for that. Admit anything, to anybody? I’m way too weak, and I need to get rid of that weakness. Definitely. Soon. Now.

  6. Penises can have strength. They can grow, they can poke, they can stand, they can bend in half and break. Strength in orgasm. Ever shoot a load all the way up on the ceiling? Yeah, me either. Strength. Strength in odor. Strength in girth. I love penis. In a very strong way. I want to grip one. Indeed. Strength.

  8. What is strength, you may ask. Strength is not how strong you are physically, for anyone can lift weights, and exercise. No. To me, strength is more of an emotional word. Strength is watching your friend’s life slip away, and having the strength to hold on, for them, if no one else. Strength is staying true to yourself, when your world is crashing down around you. Strength is courage. Strength is truth. Strength is life.

  11. I need to find the strength to rise. Where do eagles find the strength to fly? Is it in the tips of their wings? The graceful strength that brings them soaring over our heads, our fingers pointing, rushing to look at them? Before they fly away. Eagles have the strength to leave. They aren’t afraid to say goodbye. Maybe that’s a lesson everyone should learn. Maybe we should all just try. To live a little better, and to make do with the strength that we can find in our minds and in our hearts.

But this is false, and I have nothing to show for 16 years of shit. There is no reason for me to pretend to be strong. I lead others, but I do so by leaning on their shoulders. It sucks. But its true.

  30. I never knew what real strength was. I always thought that it was my friend, who could lift 150 pounds over her head with no problem, or my uncle, who could skateboard for hours on end perfectly without being tired. That was before people began to try to break me. I forced myself to harden, I protected myself, and I made it out alive. Somehow. And that was when people began to congratulate me on my strength. That was when I realized that true strength is withstanding the horrors of day to day life without submitting, standing up to someone you once thought you could trust because you’ve grown to love someone more than you love staying out of conflict, lifting your head from the water you were about to drown yourself in, putting the knife back in the drawer, walking back into the house and unpacking your bags. If there’s one thing I can be proud of, it’s my strength.
