  3. The forest floor was nothing but a complete tangle of weeds and branches. Her feet stopped every two seconds to yank itself free from the cluttered mess. The forest seemed to go on forever. Yet she didn’t have forever to get there. She heard the howling in the distance and knew she had no time to waste.

  6. it was dark and the girl screamed in pain. She wanted someone to hear her, but she knew no one could. This scared her. The fact that she could be so alone in a room, dirty, with tangled hair. She didn’t know why she was there, she couldn’t even remember how she got there, but she knew something was wrong, she knew something had to have happened, the pain of the chains cutting into her wrists and ankles easily proved that.

Tangled – in a mess – that’s what my hair was always like when I was younger – it was long, right down to my waste – I never wanted it cut – I loved having long hair but being older and having more sense I had it cut, I mean cropped just like an elf’s – so you see I don’t have to cope with the tangles anymore!

  19. Tangle reminds me of my hair in the morning. It’s generally one giant tangled mass of hair when I wake up and it drives me insane. I just want my hair to be smooth when I wake up, I wish I didn’t have to put effort into my hair or my looks for that matter, even though everyone says I don’t need to wear makeup because I’m a natural beauty, I feel like I really do need it. Just like I need to do my hair.

  25. One mistake and it spirals out of control bringing with it the pain and sorrow. A deep deep spiral of tangled words and feeling. Twisted thoughts and actions. Confusion. In this tangled sittuation confusion takes the reins and drives you away to an unknown location. WQhen will you return? You would rather not for when you come back you will have to face the tangled sittuation.

Like a shoelace knot that a toddler’s tried to untie in all the wrong ways – leaving it wound tight, pulled close and nearly inseparable – or vines around the trunk of a tree, winding for the sun through it’s own loops and curls; I want us to tangle under the shade of my sheets till we can’t find the end to tug that pulls us apart.

  40. The vines of the jungle were a tangled mess. The poor monkeys and iguanas all got stuck in them. So then, one day, a vine whisperer came along. He whispered to the vines and got them to move. So then the the monkeys and iguanas didn’t get stuck anymore and they were very happy.
