He taught me everything I know. He was the best at what we both did. Now that he’s gone, I don’t know if anyone will ever be able to take his place. I think everyone expects it to be me. I was his student. He always said I was his best student.
With these expectations of my future daunting before me, I don’t know what to make of myself. I could never be him.
To teach is a great thing. But what is taught is of utmost importance. My father taught me that it is always good to laugh at yourself. That is a great lesson.
I used to teach gym. I don’t now I don’t do much of anything. Sometimes I wish I were back taking shit from teenage assholes ful of angst and worried about nothing in particular. These days it’s all military duty and upholding the flag!
My favorite teacher was my fifth grade math teacher. I’ve never liked math; it was the one subject I’ve never been good at. But this guy really got me. He was funny, played music in class, and let me talk to the person that ended up being my best friend throughout school. His class led to my happiness.
A teacher is more then that boring person who blabs on about that new history assignment or the latest essay. A person who tachs fills your brain with knowledge. Learn to respect those who teach and the world will be better.

The teacher teach me stuff so i can get smart. Certain teachers teach certain things like math science and english. They teach this stuff because thats what they know most about and they may like it.
Teach. A word that popped out on my screen reminding me of my biggest and greatest love. My English teacher. My admiration for him was just beyond normal. I wanted to be like him. I wanted to teach people as much as he taught me. He taught me to love, to understand words, to think. If I turn out to be half of the person he is today, I would die in peace.

I like my teachers. They’re wonderful, and they allow me to learn well. I feel good in school when I have good teachers. I wouldn’t want to be a teacher when I grow up, but I do want more good, quality educators to be part of this world. I like montessori style teaching.
Teach me how to be. How to feel; how to breathe. Teach me what to eat, how to speak, how to need. Teach me all you can, teach me while it lasts. Teach me and I’ll teach you. Teach me to love, and we’ll see it right on through.
