  2. there were lots of teachers that come about my life, from early birth, to about the end of highschool. now I feel like I have no teacher in my life. no one to guide me so now im learning like a young teen, from my mistakes, seeing what happens, seeing what works, and doesnt. its weird.

  11. teacher with a long dress, teacher with no neck and high shoulders, a mouthful of grin, squinted eyes, chalk in hand and surrounded by a green cloud of math equations, and I’m just staring out the window at the baseball field where some other class is warming up with three laps before picking teams.

  12. One who can truly set all opinions aside, and allow the student to learn and grow in the way that seems the most clear to them. People have a tendency to gravitate to where they are suppose to, they should allow that to happen. I have yet to meet a true teacher. but i appreciate the attempts.

  13. i cannot imagine the pile of responsibilities a teacher carries. they’re heroes and i salute them. knowledge can never be widespread without them.

  14. I learned so much from you. Just by observing and seeing what you do. I have appreciated everything you do for me, the big and the small. It really means a lot to me to have a teacher that teaches me so much more than what I could ever want. Thank you.

  16. He didn’t know what to do. In the past, he’d had days where it felt as though the whole world were against him. Everyone does. But those days seemed more frequent now.

  17. I would be a horrible teacher. Mainly because I can’t seem to be able to explain things to others. I would also lose my patience really really fast. I’d probably insult every student with my sarcastic comments and piss off the parents with my attitude.

  18. I’ve had some wonderful teachers in my life. Although, I lucked out, being in honors programs. Here, most kids want to be there so teachers aren’t burnt out. Because of this they’re happy and we learn. And thus my life has been greatly enriched. Sure, there are some classes and teachers that I didn’t get much from, but there are far more that have helped shape who I am today; as cheesy as that sounds.

  19. You always teach me. You’re just there. You’re nice, you’re mean, it always depends. Sometimes I wish you would just go away. Sometimes I wish I had more time with you. Although, in the end, we’re always going to have one, wether we like it or not. So I’ll get used to you anyways.

  20. teachers I don’t have to deal with them for three months. Thank god!! I know they do good in this world but some shouldn’t be teachers. They don’t do anything for any kids they don’t help learning they hurt it.

  21. I knew her since she was a little girl, dancing and traipsing about in a tutu. But to see her standing at the front of the class, glasses over her nose and gesturing across the board filled with words, it was a sight that did wonders for an old heart.

  22. He was her teacher, as it turned out. It was a huge, jarring shock to walk into that English class and see the man she’d been eyeing as a date at the bar the night before. Especially after they’d done…well, something a little beyond talking. She could see it in his eyes, too: the shock, the realisation, and finally, sense returned and he quickly averted his gaze.

  27. I would make a terrible teacher because I am too much of a perfectionist. I could do it in small doses though because kids like me. I am just agraid that we might not ever get anything finished. Or we would spend too much time having fun and game time that I would stray too far away from the teaching plan. Kinda like this exercise,Ii am already straying off course. Is that how to spell course the way that I mean it. I could definitely never be an english teacher…..

  28. I would never want to be a teacher. EVER. Mainly because my dad is a teacher and just watching him go through his daily schedule is not something that would make me happy. I don’t really like kids to begin with so that would be torture in itself to have to drag myself to the school and face all those kidss

    You’ve mastered the subject.
And you don’t need me any more.

    I’ll miss you.

  30. Teacher, the one who built me. The one who made me today. They lifted me, enlightened me, enriched me. They cannot take what they have given. They promised the world to me and I will take it. Teacher who taught me all, will never be forgotten. My Teacher, my father. Thank you from your learned Daughter.

    by Daughter on 06.09.2011
  31. She taught us music. Not as good as anyone could have, but still, she taught us. I think it’s funny that one of the saddest things for a teacher is to see their students leave. Not funny exactly, but interesting. They spend their whole lives getting these people to be able to be independent and learned. And that happens, and it’s happy, and it’s sad. And the students just keep leaving…

  32. swim teachers. i just started this summer and its been a challenge explaining the complexities to young students. verbalizing something that i’ve always known how to do is pretty challenging. but i think swimming is so vital that everyone should learn.

  34. It’s so rare to find a teacher who legitimately cares about his/her job or students, so rare to find a good teacher. Most students like teachers who are carefree, children, don’t teach, and don’t give homework, and it’s easy to be that teacher. It requires no work. But to be a good teacher requires knowing the delicate balance between being the friendly kid and a real teacher, how to impart knowledge and wisdom and inspiration to a student. The truly great teachers instill a love for the subject, for learning.

    teaching for the future
    learning from the past

  40. teachers are crazy. They do help us get knowledge though. Some teachers are cool. I wonder if teachers know that students talk so much shit about them. I love my chemistry teachers.
