  22. The sand coarse but sweet beneath my feet
    Stuck between my toes
And I see you there beside me
Much more than I even know.

But our time will come that you come to tell me
In your sweet and unassuming way
You were always there beside me
And you’ll always be to stay.

    I had no idea then,
    That day upon the beach
But you came to show me soon
All the things you had to teach.

And that day with you back then
Means so much more to me now
    In such a different context.
