Chris watched doug finish up with the mowing but he couldn’t resist guzzling down the rest of the water quenching his thirst leaving Doug with extreme cottonmouth.
“Hey Chris, anything left in that bottle?
“Hey Jerk, what’s there to do tonight, anything? Die.”

She had never in her life been so thirsty. It felt like it rose from inside her sternum, up, and up into her throat over tongue, sticky palate, the roof of her mouth and onto her sandpaper lips.
Thirst is incredibly annoying especially when you see buses with ads flying around and you’re like AHH I WANT WATER NOW I COULD NEVER NOT WANT IT EVER AGAIN…
and then a day later you’re back drinking sprite and coca-cola but all in all thirst can mean your thirst for something that you really really really want and it annoys me. alot. ;/ however no thirst for blood..

She had this intense thirst for anything beautiful. She would collect it. Keep it by her bed at night so she could stare at it and have beautiful dreams. Her favourite was a rainbow coloured bottle… She would dream of the beautiful things she saw each day, may it be a robin’s egg or a seashell lying on the floor.

I am thirsty. I am thirsty for answers. I want to learn everything of Him and about Him. The Lord my Savior. I read his Word and I pray to His name. Lately he seems so very far away…

Bursting from my mind, the time passes as I realize the thirst for life that engulfs me. I start to quiver in a thought, that changing time changes people a lot more than you may want. Mourning the loss of a friend, will that person we once knew manifest himself again or is he buried beneath life’s metaphorical bullets

I thirst for your beauty,
I thirst for your warmth.
I thirst for your laughter,
I thirst for your love.
I thirst for your patience,
I thirst for your grace.
I thirst for your presence,
I thirst for your embrace.
But most of all,
I just wanna kiss you and tell you I love you. :)

I’m so thirsty, my mouth is like a desert under a 1000 degree sun. There is only air, not a drop to drink, cotton mouth.
I wish I could have some lemonade or perhaps some grape soda, that would be nice. Anything would be better than the utter discomfort that I feel right now, I need liquid.

Thirst, what a strange word. Then I start thinking, what is ‘thirst’? When one’s longing for some fluids, but what fluid? Undefined. Thirst for blood, water, or alcohol? Thirst… Strange word…

Digging through soil, tedious, layer by layer, uncovering what has been left in the past. The hot humid sun reflects and my pores to absorb every bit. My thirst for past knowledge of our ancestors and predecessors drives my ambition to become and Archaeologist. I want to be connected with past present and future.

The child’s thirst overcame her fear as she approached the tall woman sitting on the tiny quiet beach. She walked out of the high grass and reached for the woman’s clear plastic bottle and whispered through dry cracked lips “please”

Thirst is a need of the spirit. the need for cognition, philosophy, cultural, good company and interesting wholesome things to feed upon, to live off of an thrive just as a plant in the field needs water. we all thrist for these things and more to feed ourselves and though we may not know it we all need to find the things we thrist for most in thsi world

Spiritual thirst. Wine and Omar Hayat. I never experienced real thirst though. In the same way as I never slept rough or was really starving. Safe. Secure. Poor, but not desperate. Perhaps it’s the same with spirituality. I’m not Enlightened yet, because I’m not desperate.

we all thirst. we thirst for relationships. for love. for friends. for things that are real in this world more than just tangible but things and people that last. we want something to look back on and not just remember but rejoice in. we thirst for faith. not just religion but something to believe in, something to put our trust in. something or someone that will never sway from our lives
By Angie on 04.11.2011
THirst is something that everyone experiences, regardless of race, gender, religious beliefs. There are things in the world that cannot be controlled by anyone or anything and thirst is one of them.

Digging through tough soil, tedious, layer by layer. The hot humid sun reflects as my pores absorb every bit. Finding what the past has left us, some deteriorated, but still in tact. My thirst for knowledge of our ancestors and predecessors drives my every ambition to become an Archaeologist. I crave to become aware of our past, present, and future.
Undying dryness parches my tongue as the heat rises ever so slightly, along with the futility of pressing on.

I long for it all – a smile, a scent, a touch. How long will we dance this dance of envy and distances? My feet are tired, as are my anklets. Come to me soon. I will wait only so long to quench my thirst.

I’m pretty thirsty right now … I’m more hungry then thirsty … there’s water next to me … but I remember praying to God… to make me thirsty for him … eager to run to my bible… to run to him.
I can’t keep living like this. I want to be eager

Must drink and be quenched or succumb to my thirst for you. Wherever we are the clear tinkling of your running water soothes my soul. Your pure streaming love comforts me and washes my sins clean. You are not Jesus, no other lover would do

I started to write about this one word without all the plugins. It is a word that I have difficulty addressing right now because I am not experiencing any thirst. I know of Jesus’ thirst though–but not really. Water. I am thinking mosty of water.

A peel an orange the way I dissect a crab.
Juice sprays and my hands are sticky.
I drink water while I indulge.

thirst to me is like getting thirsty and getting something that you like very much. You drink what you want, to Quench your thirst. You choose water or soda, but sometimes pop. Winter gives you a variety of warm liquids to drink. Thirst plays an important roll in your day.
By kristy on 04.11.2011
That undying thirst, it was something that only the world could quench. i had to go, to leave, to never return. only seeing everything, tasting the air, feeling the vibes of all the people, that was the only thing that would quench it. i closed the door to my bedroom, and said goodbye. This was it. i was finally going to taste the freedom i had longed for for so long.

I know it stays no matter what lays nor the kings throne or walnut brown.
