His words were all make believe, knowing it was what I wanted to hear. And I fell, I fell for his lies and I fell for him. It didn’t faze him to see the tears fall off my face as he drove away.

  18. I trusted her more than anyone else in the world. Everything I’d done, everything I’d said and seen was all open to her. It was like she could access any memory of mine at her choosing. 20. I am not a trusting person. People in my mind are typically not trusted, with anything. I feel that the general population will either break something or mess it up. Just yesterday I would not allow a friend to play with my iPad, as I was afraid they would drop and break it. This may be selfish, but I do not believe it was so. I believe I was simply being cautious.

  21. Trusted friends are common, but it’s also all too common for them to turn on you. It’s interesting how valued trust is to some, while to others it’s worthless and easily betrayed. Do I sound sort of like Machiavelli here? I bet Machiavelli at least didn’t have to deal with computers not letting anyone post. Oh well. I don’t really trust computers in general.

  28. In my mind, people are typically not trusted. I see people as ignorant dangerous idiots who will break anything they are given, or mess something up. Just yesterday I didn’t let a friend, someone who I was typically kind to, play with my iPad because I was afraid they would drop and break it. I had these horrible visions of the screen cracking as it hit the ground.
